  1. The majority of the time decisions are driven by money. But maybe in this case long just didn't want to be a dolphin anymore and the Fins knew it. You never really know what goes on behind closed doors, team meetings etc.....And maybe Long liked the direction the Rams are heading with a good quality coach.
  2. Most of the posters are not that ignorant to what the facts are and the holes we have. The frustration is due to the consistent poor decisions from the front office. We could have 9 draft picks this year and we would most likely hit on 2 at best. Right now this team is in a monster bind with no way out except being in the basement this year. Thats the sad reality of it. I cant speak for everyone but personally I am not heart broken at all. I will be a Bills fan because thats how I was bred, my family had seasons from the very first year of their existence up to 32 years later. Trends never ever lie and you cant ignore the fact we have more losing seasons than winning and havent been to the playoffs in 13 years. And in 1 of 13 we barely sniffed them. We lost to the Steelers back ups, yep I was at that game. I am not being a jerk just being honest. We are really good at losing.
  3. I agree its going to be very rough this year. Anyone who thinks otherwise may need to take a step back and evaluate as a non fan. As for Ralph, he has been pretty good thru the years at hiring inept managers of the organization. A few years back I stumbled upon the teams overall win %. It was .340 , I think that was 8 years ago or so. I am betting were are hovering around .320 but I will find out. If so, thats losing more than 2/3 of your games throughout the years.
  4. I am not sure I am reading you right so please elaborate. Sure the guys you mention are great players. There is no denying that. And our O line is still pretty good. But for DE who do we really have opposite Mario. And Fred Jackson has really begun to slow down. Sure some is due to injury but we cant ignore his age and that when RB's take a huge nosedive. And your right, A great qb can definitel mask some things.
  5. No worries at all. It was a serious question. Most of us on this board have been fans for a long time, some a llittle longer than others. There is no doubt there has been seasons that were horrible and just tough to watch. What I am pointing out is have we seen the organization as whole from the top down be so inept? I have thought of Kay Stephenson, Hank Bullough years and they were very bad. I just dont remember the whole thing being this bad. Thats all and apology accepted. We all need to remember we are on the same team. Its nice to come here and just left off some steam. Its not just about Levitre, I think we all or most expected him to go. Its the lack of direction and the serious mismanagement of the team. When you have 13 years of no playoffs that sums it up.
  6. Actually I have PTSD. And I asked worse off, not the worst team. Have a nice night :-)
  7. Me too, its the only way we really can turn things around. Oh, and right after this draft time for Buddy to go.
  8. I respect what your saying but cant agree because this regime couldnt draft a soup sandwich. We can all say get this and get that and all will be well however our talent evaluators have been pretty bad. So yes, we can put different players on the field at need positions, but will the make a difference. Trends dont lie my friend and right now we are in a 13 year one.
  9. I dont mean this in a negative way. I am merely calling it as I see it. Has anyone else seen the Bills in more dire straits than right now? Ive been going to the stadium since the early 70's and suffered through some tough times like the rest of you. But I dont ever remember it being as bad as it is right now. From the Buddy nix phone call that was just pathetic from a GM. To a long term deal with a journeyman contract. At one point we had Russ Brandon as the GM not too mention we have only hit on a few draft picks in the last ten or so years. 13 years of no playoffs. People can flame away at me, franky I dont care my life will go on. As of right now, and I know its been discussed already, but we have 1 wide receiver, no tight end until some point in the season, just lost the top or close to the top guards in the NFL, Fred Jackson has wear and tear so we have no depth at RB. We have one QB on the roster that we gave a 7th round pick for then never dressed him the whole year. Oh, and this QB cant hit the broad side of a barn. On defense we have no linebackers and wow, we signed a second stringer from Cinci. Maybe our D line is a strength but the jury is still out and Dareus hasnt played like a number 3 over all. He gets a pass for his brothers death. At safety we are weak and at CB too. I am bracing for 1-15 to 3-13 at very best. Yes my friends, its that bad. So get your popcorn ready for the comedy show.
  10. Thank goodness and it feels good to be right
  11. Not one bit. When your expectations are low its tough to be disappointed. I stopped caring mid point last year. I will follow what's going on however I'm now numb to it all.
  12. Dysfunctional = Bills = 14 season no play offs
  13. The problem is the Bills are good at having a lot of so so players mixed in with a bunch of lousy ones. We will see 14 years of no playoffs. I would wager a small fortune in Vegas on that
  14. There wasn't any complaining....just facts.....Sorry to burst your bubble. Bingo.....someone gets it. Nice post. Your right we are in complete rebuild mode. Don't be surprised if fitz is gone in 2 days. I welcome 1 n 15 this year
  15. Ok lets be brutally honest and really take a look at the Bills position by position. I will start with QB. We dont have a bonified top flight starting QB. We all know that. Heck, we dont have a number 2 either. On to RB, Spiller is a beast and fun to watch. Fred Jackson is in decline and has lost his burst. On to WR. After Stevie Johnson we have nothing folks. TJ graham has hands of bricks. As for TE, Chandler isnt going to be ready and we have squat behind him. Our O line is the strong point but dont expect Levitre to stay. He is off like a prom dress. Our defensive line may be the strong point, however we certainly need another DE. Linebackers, I just gotta shake my head because we do not have 1 NFL caliber LB on the roster. I will lump the db's all together as one......average at best. We have way to many needs to address my friends. Brace yourself for a 2-14 type season. Its going to be worse before it gets better. Flame away if you like it really wont bother me. Reality is just that.
  16. What would be the difference between jc and tjax?
  17. I'm leaning on the side of sarcasm here
  18. Just trying to have some fun after a long day, sorry next time I will post something more to your liking
  19. I was simply showing my sincere appreciation to everyone that pointed out my serious life threatening mistake that's all. Ps....guys that have served 21 years in the Corps don't pout.
  20. You people are all too funny. Thanks for being so incredibly awesome
  21. Let's make a bet I dont have that much.time
  22. The Bills don't make the playoffs for a 14th straight season. We are that bad. At least were good at something I suppose. Everyone will start drinking the kool aid this off season and yep, I certainly have been guilty of it as well. Bottom line Buddy boy hasn't shown anyone the baby. At this point its really comical. Anyways I would like to know how many of you will billieve or won't!!!!
