  1. The majority of the time they do. And then sometimes the player advocates for himself and he sways the staff and plays. Alot of it depends on how strong the Dr. Rec. is. I work at the VA hospital and see it first hand. Yes a little different from football but patients go against the Dr.'s Rec's, get second opinions etc... and sometimes the Dr.s are just plain wrong as well. There is so much privacy (HIPPA) that everyone is protected by that we will never ever know if this kid wanted to play or not. The more injuries a player has and sits out the more the perception is that he doesnt want to be on the field. Its a violent sport and it's exponential from College to NFL. Maybe Sammy isn't tough enough we will find out soon enough.
  2. All I can do is laugh. Its fascinates me to no end how people insult behind an electronic device. I really do find it hilarious after I have been in multiple combat zones, disabled, ptsd, and I somehow am managing to complete my BSN in May. And I managed to land a nice job in the process. If thats insecure bravo zulu to you.
  3. When his injuries happened they were very routine ---not like someone landed on it. Thats what I was referring to. I should of been more clear. As for insecure not hardly. As for him I dont dislike him heck I dont know the dude but I have grown intolerant of him. Thats a big difference. I think in the big picture of things the board is very divided and thats ok. Its what this board does and makes it interesting. Some view his comments as insults and some could care less. I will add -and I dont do twitter or instagram but my view is the sites are very public so I do view it as an insult with regards to his comments.
  4. We can agree to disagree
  5. Im capable of reading and dissecting. He most certainly did with his piddley job statement. He did to alot of the fans but Kelly the Dog is always right so ok your right. His apology means nothing. Peace.
  6. I dont know how bad his injury to his calf was and most of us never will. I think Sammy is at a point where he wont play through an injury. Then he comes back and sprains his ankle on a plant where he has to come back. The calf and ankle injuries were very low trauma events. Many perceive he is injury prone (brittle) or doesnt really care. Yeah I know he played with ribs last year. Like I have said most players at this point are playing through injuries its just how it is in contact sports. TT was going to play with an MCL sprain.
  7. It has nothing to do with the platform it has to do with the substance. Sorry if you can't understand that. If I was Sammy I would of chose a much difference stance like -I know alot of your are frustrated and I am too. I am doing my very best getting back and contributing to our teams success. Thats what being a professional is all about. Instead he takes a jab at us blue collar folk - ones who have supported and spent loads of money through it all. Athletes like him make it easier on me to not renew my seasons next year.
  8. Your totally right and I have grown tired of him. And no I have never bashed him in social media. I have pointed out he needs to see the field and quit goofing off on the sideline. Thats not calling anyone out thats merely stating hes a professional and conduct yourself as such.
  9. BOOSTERS He got a little advise from his manager or someone like Kyle Williams
  10. Im offended because my family is blue collar and we have had seasons since the franchise started. So my grandfather who sold newspapers on the street corner off the boat who ended up being a barber to my father who worked in a factory (Dunlop) for 35 years to me who served our country for 21 years are just piddley workers? Boy the Boosters in Clemson must of really stroked his ego and protected him from anything he didnt want to hear.
  11. Dont lump me into the others. Im merely saying he should handle himself different as a professional and because he is unable to I can let him have it--booing him from my 50 yarders that are now 4 generations deep paid for by blue collar jobs in my family will happen. On a personal note I fought through things that most on this board or Sammy couldn't possibly fathom. Im going to leave it at that.
  12. Im not far from it but its not a statement thing. Spending loads of money through the years for the anguish that ensues isnt much fun. Statements like Sammy's make it much easier.
  13. Not true -without fans there is no one to watch which means no tv contracts. Sports/entertainment must have fans or spectators to succeed. Also, concession revenues, ticket sales, parking, NFL paraphernalia are also a large piece of the puzzle. Greed has always been the rise and fall of most things. The NFL isnt immune to it at all. I normally agree and value your opinions but on this one its skewed somewhat.
  14. Go work your piddley jobs? What an idiot to say that about anyone. Karmas a B word Sammy. He doesnt seem bright at all and if the injury bug keeps hitting him he just may be working that piddley job. He can definitely go F himself.
  15. Yep I saw it as it happened....things like this are slowly pushing me away.
  16. Sadly in todays NFL you cant leave it in the hands of the officials. EJ put us in a monster hole--- we recovered then it got snatched away
  17. Im not saying this to be harsh- third rounders after 3 years in dont do what EJ did yesterday. He just isnt smart enough to read defenses and is way to erratic in his passes. And good God the QB sneak was a cluster. Get low and drive already it was awful to watch he turned sideways and looked fetal. He is a good kid but isnt good enough for the NFL. As for Sammy- I dont have a big enough sample size cuz hes always hurt. That doesnt bode well for him either
  18. It is sad after all these years they still cant get things right. Anyone who thinks playoffs is a possibilty is delusional. This season has been nothing but a circus
  19. Some of this is a piggy back off of what bigcat said- Actually everything from an operational standpoint on game day falls under Ryans umbrella. He isn't the guy thats going into the equipment room charging batteries however he is the guy who makes sure the quality control systems are in place- then it trickles on down to our quality guys then branched to the equipment personnel. On to your point- CEO's do set the tone but we have to remember thats not Brandons role anymore (on the football side). At least we were led to believe that? It is so hard to tell with this team everything makes all of us scratch our heads and try to figure it out and you just cant. One thing I believe is Whaley and only Whaley should be hiring the HC. It is so important that your GM and HC are on the same page but the pegulas had a love fest for Ryan. I wonder how long that will last?
  20. Every year we all say this--- I am on 39 years as a fan- started going to the games at age 5 and I cant count the first four as I was still picking my nose and crapping my pants. From incubation this team has been an abortion. Look no further to our overall win percentage in the NFL.
  21. It is called quality assurance- something this team lacks. Follow the freaking SOP's and Checklists- if their is any? I dont know what to believe anymore. To top it off listening to Rex makes me sick. Can we drain his battery ASAP? Secret squirrly transmissions to the pats lol
  22. My thought on this is standard operating procedures and checklists created from the top that gets trickled down. One of three things happened. There is no procedure in place or the procedure/checklist is in place and there was no oversight on it or the equipment guy communicates up that all headsets good to go. Regardlesss good organizations dont seem to have these problems and we always have something stupid going on.
  23. Buffalo Bills fallling down, falling down......
