  1. So a tackle after 5 yards gained when its 3rd and 6 is meaningless?
  2. Yeah, and Polian hasn't done anything since leaving the Bills.
  3. The coaching staff asked Schobel to loose the weight as they employed the Tampa 2. Remember when everyone started loosing weight on the defense? Well Schobel has never been the same. I think there is a direct correlation between his weight and his effectiveness. But to me here is the real issue. Even when Schobel was at his best, he was never really an impact player. He never changed the game, or changed the way an offense played. He put up decent numbers a couple years in sacks and tackles, and one great year in sacks but not tackles. But was never really a guy that made everyone else around him better, or could carry a defense for a game. And to me that is all I expect out of a player getting payed to be one of the best in the league. Not to have years where you dominate, but have games where you impact the way that game was played. He is a slightly above average player at his best, a decent player when he's not, and a question mark when dealing with an injury.
  4. I appreciate what you're saying, but what if the ramifications of taking Christianity out of our government results in us turning our backs on Israel? The only reason why we protect Israel now, is that our foundational beliefs are that the Christian God mandated Israel be protected. You do realize that the world is waiting on our response to Israel being threatened by Iran don't you? Once we decide to turn our backs on Israel (which we will), the world will recognize that and unite against Israel. Do I need to go further on that point? Then you will have your line back that was crossed by your so called separation of God from our Government. But you will wish that line didn't exist. There are millions of Muslims moving into this country each year. Far more of a problem than the distraction of illegal's. Then when with a Government controlled country that we will live in when they have full control of the banks (money), all kinds of industry (jobs), health care etc. and no Christian influences in Government to stop any of it. The predicted demise of the United States will begin. And you want Christians (or as you say "religion") out of Government, well you will have it. Brush up on your Arabic.
  5. Your fear is only beginning as people like you hope Christianity dissolves from this country. You will wish we were here for you shortly.
  6. Seriously? You don't know? And you're a Christian? Not being smart, asking seriously. You don't know how Israel and Christianity in our Government are connected?
  7. Yeah, with the free healthcare and all. Ha ha.
  8. Yeah, we need less religion in everything. Look how good its working in the schools. But don't you really mean Christianity and not religion? You will have your wish soon enough. When Israel goes down you'll wish you could go back in time and change your mind.
  9. I think Evans is in that mix now of solid #2 receivers.
  10. When thinking about drafting Edwards in fantasy. You have to believe that he plus who you would draft in the first three rounds will produce more than drafting a QB early and suffering in another position to do that.
  11. Thank you for your service.
  12. The league I am in uses Fanball. It does a great job for us.
  13. I like your list and would add Walker as a RT. He is one of the top ten RT's in the game.
  14. That's the point "underrated". Did you watch him play? He wasn't the run and shoot kind of WR, he was the nasty, tough, get open when you need 6 yards type of receiver. He was a handful to deal with, when you played the Oilers. He didn't have gaudy numbers by any stretch, that's why I think he is underrated. Are you suggesting we only pick receivers that had great numbers that no one talks about? Is that the only way you view someone being overrated? I don't.
  15. yeah, he could come out of the tunnel to "who let the dogs out". No thanks.
  16. I understand what you are saying, but in my mind yes one plus one still equals two. Just because you add drops together to make a bigger drop doesn't change how many drops, because in order to say the first one is a drop you equate that to a measurement. Even in your argument you say put one drop on the table and add another drop, so the answer is still two drops because a drop takes on an identity or a truth being its a unit of measure now. Don't be concerned for me, really. Because human beings are imperfect and misconstrue simple things like your water drop analogy, is precisely why I think a concession to God is the only way. For example you and I have two polar opposite points of view, but who is right? One of us might be or we might both be wrong, but we both aren't right. I have to tell you that I was raised in church and was a dedicated Christian. But as I got older I struggled with my beliefs because I realized I was only a Christian because my parents brought me up to be one. I didn't necessarily have an independent thought to become one. So I struggled with proving it in my own life. To make a long journey short, I came to one conclusion. I am an imperfect human being. I lie, I get mad when I shouldn't, I forget names or where I put stuff. I think I heard someone say one thing, and they said another. So basically I decided that because I can't even trust myself to remember a phone number sometimes, how can I rely on my own thoughts about eternal things to be absolutely true just based on my thoughts or a gathering of information. Maybe I read wrong, or misunderstood what someone wrote. What if I'm wrong? So I decided that because I don't know everything I have to concede to someone or something that does. I tried to disprove Christianity but it's truth kept smacking me right back in the face. So for me, I put my trust and faith into it.
  17. I am defending a website? Hardly. I am defending the fact that if something is true, it consequently means that anything outside of that isn't. Yes I think I am right. But I don't think that alone makes me right. I just believe there is a truth, not many truths, especially when they contradict. It can't be possible. If 10 people were given a math equation to determine and for example 3 people gave the same answer and that answer was correct and the other 7 all had different answers and they were all wrong. According to you we can't say the 3 are right because that would be "closed minded" or that the belief there is an answer to the problem means you can't tell people they are wrong. Now what is right is up to each individual to find that answer. However just like the math problem, some people will be right and some will be wrong. How can it be any other way?
  18. I agree, I'm bored with you also. But you seem like a good guy from reading your comments on here. Nothing personal, just get tired of getting bashed all the time for believing in Christianity.
  19. I think you just assume that people that have decided on one thing to be true, are ignorant. But how wrong you are my friend. You refer to me as closed minded, but it was my open mindedness that brought me to my belief. I find it comical that you criticize someone for believing in one thing, when it is such a contradiction to demand everyone believe in everything for legitimacy.
  20. You're right to think one thing is true is to have a narrow point of view. That is the point. To have a broad point of view on such a specific thing is irresponsible and lazy. Could you imagine the chaos if we started saying one plus one is not necessarily two if you don't believe it. The fact is that one plus one is two. It's not that you believe it to be true that makes it true. The belief that one thing is true and the search of that is the quest, is not narrow. It's a search for the fact. I don't believe what I believe in is true because I believe it. I believe it to be true based on a broad research of facts.
