  1. There is such a thing as having both. Why the Bills choose players with one or the other baffle's me. Then we have guys like Schobel, Kelsay, and Denney who have neither, and they start for us for 7 8 and 9 years.
  2. I totally agree, especially in regards to Copeland Bryan. I think it was a mistake cutting this kid. I watched the games more than twice to focus on him and Ellis, and he was absolutely getting after it every play. Remember Maybin's sack in the last preseason game? Well it was a great move, but Bryan from the left end position took his lineman all the way to the right hash mark, and was there for the fumble recovery, in which he ripped it out of the offensive players hands. Denney or Kelsay should have gone.
  3. Only because a new owner knows he can move the team.
  4. Does that make you feel better to call Peters a wash up? He smokes Walker in talent, potential, and his play. Evans is the best payer on this team? What do you say to someone that thinks Evans is our best player? Ok. You win, Evans gets open and none of our QB's can ever see him.
  5. We are loyal and give big money to the wrong guys. We should stay loyal to guys like Peters and let guys like Evans walk. Then you sign Housh and Owens and move on. Just because guys are nice and don't complain publicly about their contracts, doesn't mean those are the guys you sign. Then you end up with huge contracts to guys like Schobel, Kelsay, Evans, etc. But they will let Peters, Clements, and soon Lynch walk.
  6. It looks like we have to, but I am so not in the mood to start all over again.
  7. I don't think the current coaching regime will be looking to replace Edwards, they know they don't have time to save their own jobs for that. But if Edwards can't turn it around quick, the next head coach will most likely look for his own guy.
  8. I'd rather listen to Frank Caliendo impersonate him. Phenomenal.
  9. Well I am worried about the DE's also. We literally don't get any pressure on the QB, except; when Ellis and most of all Bryan come in. So what I am most worried about is Jauron and Company being too loyal to veteran's instead of giving these two young guys a shot. I would be less worried if I saw Maybin, Ellis, and Copeland seeing major time with the 1st teamers. They deserve it, those guys were flat out getting it done two games in a row. It looks important to them.
  10. I don't think you could be more wrong. Edwards has the ability to be a real good QB. This coaching staff doesn't prepare our players, as well as the coaching staff's prior. Fitz? You have to be kidding.
  11. Trent looked like that because Dom Capers is a great coach. We don't have the ability to prepare our team against superior coaching. John Gruden would make Edwards a star.
  12. why can't we hire a guy like Capers. It looks like so much fun to have good coaching.
  13. Tutan Reyes Courtney Anderson
  14. I thought Copeland Bryan stole the show. If you taped the game, go back and watch how active he was.
  15. You're not listening. I didn't say he would become a hot commodity. It was a natural time to make the decision. I didn't say I agree with the decision. I just don't blame them for when they did it. But you insinuate they brought back a 3 time 7-9 coach, that's not exactly how it happened. He was 5-1, when the decision was made. After he went 7-9 again it was too late. Thats all I'm saying. And I am right.
  16. This is getting ridiculous. The #11 pick is holding out. I’m getting bored with this kid already. I’m usually pretty even keeled, but I am starting to dislike him. It used to be the first few picks would hold out and be the last to sign. Now #11 picks are among the last? Even if it’s his agent, I don’t care. Call the agent and say get the deal done today. I’m officially questioning his judgment. You're the number 11 most wanted football player in America, and a dog killer gets a deal done faster than you?
  17. You act like Jauron got his extension after a 3rd consecutive 7-9 season. Get your facts right. He signed the extension when we were 5-1, right before we lost to the Dolphins. Jauron was in the last year of his contract, the team was winning, the fan base was excited. It seemed like a very natural time to sign him to an extension. No one could have anticipated how the season would deteriorate like it did. Oh except YOU, and every other team but the Bengals. So after signing him to an extension you expected the FO to fire him? And then have to pay him for the entirety of the contract? Which would have meant someone like Bobby April would have been our coach for two years to absorb the blow of Dick's contract. Are you insane? It's tough even dealing with fans like you that just spew negativity, when you have such little knowledge of which you speak.
  18. Perfect post, I couldn't agree more. With T.O. in town he is finally going to be able to prove it, and I believe he will.
  19. No Sir, Schobel would not start at right end for any contending team. He is a shell of himself, which at his best was not an impact player. Schobel at his best was good.
  20. Saying "I think the Bills are going to the Super Bowl", is hardly the same as saying Tony Dungy is in Rochester. People that start threads that are blatant lies has no place here, and should be closed. How can you think otherwise? You want to read something that isn't true?
  21. What ever happened to Salisbury? I never heard.
  22. I would almost pass on Maybin. In fact if I was in the top 20 in the first round I would trade my pick every time. No wonder the teams at the top of the draft can't get better. They have to dedicate 70-50 million dollars to these players and after pick 20 it drops to 15 million. I just don't see how a team can get better having to spend that kind of money on rookies. I like Maybin, but I would almost say pass and sign a 27 year old veteran next year.
  23. Don't let us stay in your room, we may pee in your bed.
