  1. That's like eating your own throw up and saying you paid for the meal. And it's not "their" money they are spending.
  2. Don't let this fool trick you. He obviously despises God, look at how he mocks him in his signature. He quotes a scripture to condemn people, when he himself doesn't believe in the scripture he quotes. The Rich Man's greed is another topic and a completely separate issue. Does the verse right after Matthew 19:24 say "And to save Rich people from the possibility of greed making them miss entering the Kingdom of Heaven, steal from them and give it to a corrupt entity for them to decide what should happen with the man's money"? Does it say that? So taking from someone by force and giving it to someone else, is a Christian proposition? You got fooled by Rfeynman, who himself is a fool. Quoting the word of God out of one side of his mouth, while mocking it out of another. Also what constitutes "rich" from God's point of view? Are you and Rfeynman sure it's money? Make sure it isn't you and that you haven't been duped into thinking it's the people that have money. I find it comical that people who don't believe in the word of God, quote it to shove things in your face, then don't even truly understand the meaning behind the words, just see the words themselves. Oh Rfeynman, you simple minded little boy.
  3. No they would give the money to someone who didn't work. Hence no job created and no work performed.
  4. Yep. Know any poor kids creating jobs? Furthermore the Government is not the largest employer in this country, its not close to the private sector. Even if that was true, it could only be true because "rich" peoples taxes afforded them to.
  5. You are saying Republicans think things should be handed to them because they think they should keep what they have? And Democrats who think you should give a large portion of what you have to them, because you have more, is working hard for it?
  6. Yes, force rich people to dissipate their money before they die. That should help the middle class. I guess you're one of those guys who think poor people create jobs. And yes, working hard shouldn't benefit your kids, just you while you're alive. People like you certainly have the right to punish my parents if they so choose to leave anything for me and my siblings. Screw the house we grew up in, people like you should take it from us if my parents don't sell it before they die.
  7. Yeah that way the rich dudes descendants can't create jobs for people like you and me. Great theory. Give it to the Government since they obviously know how to manage money.
  8. I hope for two things: one is that Mitchell stays on the team, and second is that he doesn't mind being a backup.
  9. I agree. I've watched all the film I could of Wang and he's not impressed me all that much. I've yet to see him bury a defender in the run game. Pretty good feet for a big guy, but man is he ever a project.
  10. Why would you want them to trade Lynch for a 3rd round draft pick since you clearly don't like their draft strategy? You are contradicting yourself. You should be saying "The only player I like that they drafted was Spiller, so I don't want them to trade Lynch and give these guys another draft pick to screw up". I completely disagree with the premise of your post - and apparently so do you.
  11. QUOTE (mpl6876 @ May 31 2010, 10:44 PM) Good point Fish. I was "out of line" with my comment. Just thought Buffalo was arrogant and rude when he responded to my post. As a result, I fired back inappropriately. Like I said in my response I don't normally go off on a rant, but your comments about confidence in a new front office because of a rumored interest in Tebow baited me out of my normal realm. In saying that I apologize if I came off as rude and arrogant. My intent was more to comment on the content of your post and I obviously got too personal. I apologize for that as well.
  12. He sure has in his short stint in the NFL. But go youtube his college highlights. Plenty of athleticism, must be in there somewhere. Not knowing what you're doing and what the defense is doing can do that to you.
  13. The worst part is he's the poster and asked "What do you guys think?"
  14. Just when I think you can't get more ridiculous - you come back with something even more nonsensical. Wilson's job as the owner is to empower the people he hires to be able to make the football decisions, he has clearly done that. His second responsibility is to fire those same people if the decisions they make don't produce - he has clearly done that, you yourself have given 5 examples above. What Ralph owns is being wrong on the people he has hired (hopefully till now), but you can't say he hasn't been committed to trying. To answer your question "How did I do?" - You embarrassed yourself once again.
  15. Thank you for further confirming your overwhelming stupidity. It only brings continued credence to my criticism of your post. If you're not smart enough to understand you can't put the last 10 years on the new guys, there's nothing else to be said. Actually you're the person who needs to leave the board and not come to this site. You spew your obvious uneducated negativity with some rumor about Tebow and use that as a weak foundation for not believing in the new FO, wow. And then at the end of your post you say "what do you guys think"? I simply answered your question and told you what I thought, and you get you're feelings hurt. Then don't start posts asking what do you guys think of my post. You're boring.
  16. What I don't understand is how you can say "What really bothers me (if this report was true) is how the heck can I have confidence with this new Bills front office if they were going to make a decision like this???" when the guy hasn't played yet? And who even cares he's not on our team. You say it as if we all need to convince you the front office knows what they're doing, and to this point they've shown they very much do. Now I have to build your confidence in the FO on your random thoughts? Well lets start with this. You have no idea and I mean no idea if Tebow will be a success, how about wait a few years before you judge the FO on Tebow - a guy we didn't draft. Furthermore, you're saying you didn't want them to take Tebow. Ok, they didn't. So now they have to coddle you about a rumor? And hope they can somehow get your support again? You don't have confidence in our FO because of a rumor that they wanted Tebow? A rumor? Seriously? The previous regime indulged fans, this regime has a plan and is sticking to it. Right or wrong - works or doesn't work, that is the right approach. Screw signing FA's to give fans the warm and fuzzies, they are saying give us time to build a winner and that's what you'll like. I normally don't rant, but you come on here over a Month after the draft saying forgive me if this topics been covered - and then have the most irresponsible, uninformative, unsubstantiated, BS criticism of our front office over a player we were rumored to have been interested and want our thoughts on how you're ever going to be able to have confidence in a front office like this. ok, sorry, I'm done. This one just flew all over me.
  17. I don't understand why people are talking about Crayton and dumping Roscoe either. But not for the same reason's as you. They don't play the same position. Roscoe is a slot guy, hardy is a wide out. If Crayton were to be brought in, it should have nothing to do with Roscoe. However "sold on Hardy", I don't know who is saying that, but the level headed fans aren't. We are simply saying you have to give the guy an opportunity, which we haven't thus far, and injuries have played a big part of it. So now its his time to showcase, thats all. Bringing in another non impact WR to stint that opportunity for him and for the team to see what he has, would be ludicrous.
  18. Defense will not be the weak link, not by a long shot. There are far more question marks on offense even with having an offensive minded head coach. There's no way you can support that argument.
  19. Absolutely not. He's not the type of receiver to elevate a team. He's a decent receiver where if he's your teams #2, you're constantly looking to upgrade, like the cowboys have done more than once on him. In saying that, I'm not willing to disregard the importance of seeing what Hardy and Johnson have this year for a player that will have significantly less of an impact than a hall of famer like TO. I'm passing and so will Nix.
  20. What about when you say "Bill's going to the store." ? Are you sure about never?
  21. This post makes me want to drink ...... heavily.
  22. I love this guys attitude, the way he plays, and the way he doesn't seem to care what other people think. I wish the Bills had a guy like this for us to root for.
  23. Another "I'm kidding, can't you take a joke" thread. I hope.
  24. Don't take me as being disrespectful or a pessimist, but I disagree with a few of your points. Spiller is absolutely not the best at running between tackles, Jackson is our best runner in that regard. He has shown a propensity to find the correct lane and he gets through it quick. The second best at running between the tackles is Lynch, his ability to move the pile for 3 extra yards is among the leagues best. Spiller (at least this year) will not be asked to run between tackles very much, not in the spread offense. Wang is a project that is going to take a while to manifest into started LT material in the NFL. I would be shocked, albeit happy if he even resembles a starter next year. My overall reason for believing we will struggle offensively is there are just too many things that need to come together. We lost our best WR (TO), a guy like Hardy or Johnson will have to step up huge for us to even have 2 receivers that can produce. Most teams need 3 receivers to perform and a 4th to be productive. It's a huge question mark and almost unreasonable to assume one will become a serious producer in what would amount to their first year starting. Our starting RT picked up in free agency is a depth type player that hasn't been very good. We obviously have a LT conundrum. We are switching offensive schemes which is much more difficult to build cohesion than a defensive scheme. If Edwards isn't the starter, it will most likely be because Brohm beat him out. Remember what it's like to watch a relative rookie learn on the job. I just think its asking a lot from this group to even expect consistency let alone be surprising. Of course I believe our offensive minded coach and his staff are much more competent than the previous regime, but its also a lot to ask them to make this team this year be a cohesive group.
  25. I think its a long time coming that New York State actually use some of the tax money on city's like Buffalo. They keep wasting money on New York City and its surrounding areas. Buffalonian's should be outraged that a major portion of their taxes go to support the antics of NYC. They owe Buffalo a stadium.
