  1. yes, we need a QB that can run the offense.
  2. This team is so blessed with injuries.
  3. Heck if Thigpen is as good as Grossman I'd take him. I thought Grossman looked great.
  4. I thought Edwards looked solid on the first drive.
  5. We are a long way from worrying about momentum. If he told is players that the game really didn't matter, he's right, it doesn't.
  6. I'm not totally disagreeing with you, but I'm not sure that messages being sent at this point is as important as seeing as many players as you can. Chan isn't being evaluated. Maybe us fans are, but it's not his job to try and impress us (now). It's to evaluate. That's priority one right now. In saying that, challenging that play and having the Redskins either score on the next play or kick the field goal does little for the long term. If this team is fragile enough to get down on a decision like that, we are in serious trouble. Let Chan do his thing man, he's an NFL coach. We aren't. You've got to take things like that with a grain of salt.
  7. But you don't think what we saw on the first drive is enough to build on vs. what you saw from Fitz? I mean that was as impressive as Fitz's performance. I blame the INT on Evans or at least 50% of it.
  8. I thought Fitz looked down right awful. I can't see how you think for any reason he should start. He's not the future. So what advantage is it to have him play, when it's so close on who sucks the most?
  9. The QB of the future is not on this team.
  10. I don't think the coaches care too much about challenging plays in the pre season. Even though I agree it was something you would normally challenge. But they don't really care if its the defense, offense, or special teams on the field. They are trying to evaluate players and that's the main focus. I could definitely see the challenge being related to a decision to get the offense back on the field for further evaluation vs. worrying about inches on the goal line.
  11. Sorry but that INT was just as much on Evans. Come on Lee you've got to make sure he doesn't catch it.
  12. Right, but just because it can be worse, doesn't make the injuries to our guys any less significant.
  13. Chicago Bears
  14. You say a lot of goofy stuff, this is up there.
  15. There's a ton of holes in your scoring system.
  16. Who would you cut to make room for Holt?
  17. Why would you think this, Jauron didn't give him much of an opportunity last year. And he could/should have. For that matter he didn't give Johnson any love either.
  18. I'm not privy to seeing him in camp, but everything I've read suggests his route running is questionable.
  19. Good analogy. But consider this. Your crazy wife doesn't realize last night you went down and repaired the sump pump to the best of your ability. But you thought you would look into getting a new one at Home Depot if it was reasonable enough. Darn the things were not as cheap as you thought, but they had a great deal on a fridge, so you took advantage of an opportunity hoping your repair held. You turned out to be right because the repair took and now you have a stainless steel fridge. Not only that but it matches the other stainless steel appliances you already had but until you found the deal couldn't afford to buy.
  20. For me the argument isn't so much about BPA or drafting for need. It's how well can you evaluate players. I want a front office that drafts players that start, contribute, develop and become the foundation of your team. What position they play in the end works itself out.
  21. The Saints already traded a tackle to the Redskins. Which tackle do you think they will trade to us now? Pay attention.
  22. I hope we get a glimpse Friday night.
