  1. Well I'm not sure I understand your connection with Wang and Green. Both play different positions and therefor wouldn't be relevant to each other in the cutting process. Wood would never play RT, if anything he will eventually move to Center. I've got to disagree with you (a little) on Kelsay. He's certainly a tough player to defend, but he does play the run, not good, but very good. That's is the sole reason he is on the field, when he is. I actually think a bigger and easier case can be made about Schobel's ineptness. But everything else you have said I agree with. Go Bills.
  2. Huh? Gailey has made numerous comments making nuance to how the wide receivers aren't where he wants them to be, in regards to progressing. Most of his comments have been about mental errors. But I have never gotten the impression the team is happy with their WR's, especially after one was put on IR that they invested a 4th round pick on, and a second rounder that can't stay on the field. I don't understand what you disagree on? You gave the organizations perspective and I gave the players. Is there any doubt why the player (Revis) is doing what he's doing?
  3. Parrish isn't going anywhere and what they do with the outside WR position has nothing to do with him. Nothing! Would anyone like to debate why Darrelle Revis is holding out now? Or any hold out for that matter. Dude signs a 4 year 28 million dollar contract, gets hurt, and gets cut. If he didn't get the 7 mil upfront, he'd be screwed. Revis would be a fool to play under his current contract.
  4. Here's some for me: Cornell Green Kawika Mitchell Joique Bell - Then they will try to practice squad him.
  5. I think he looks like the real deal to most.
  6. I know this is going a little earlier in the game. But why isn't Lee Evans jumping up and down on that interference play. He ended up getting the call, but on the replay he just claps his hands, instead of vying for a call. I hate to say it, but the guy plays with zero passion.
  7. Unfortunately on many others this pre-season. He's someone I really thought had star potential in him, and that we would start to see it this year. It almost looks like he's regressing.
  8. We are so programmed to think that when we look bad, that's the way we are going to look the rest of the game and for that matter the rest of the year. We aren't used to seeing things get better, or adjustments made. Gailey is going to make this team better. We are going to have terrible looking drives and game, we aren't that good. But it won't feel like it has the last 4 years, because you will see us get better within drives, games, and the year.
  9. Yeah, I think he would have served himself better by leaving the part about watching the starters for the most of the game out. Ha Ha.
  10. The Thursday night football crew mentioned Tight End Donald Lee was fighting for a roster spot. If he gets cut, I would love for the Bills to sign him. I think he would help this team immensely with his pass catching skills.
  11. I think it was way too late to address Modrak last year. Most of the work to evaluate players had been done. It made more sense to keep him. Based on who we drafted, I'm happy, or at the very least intrigued with this years draft. So based on that I'm not sure Modrak will or should go anywhere.
  12. Your avatar looks like he could be Prince Poppycock's uncle.
  13. Yep it's all going to boil down to QB play. It has been so long since we've seen a QB actually get better through out the year. It's been so long its almost like I've gotten into a lull that that's normal. But it's abnormal for a QB to deteriorate and for a team as a whole to progressively get worse QB play as the season goes on. We all sort of expect Trent to fail, but realistically with the right coach he should get better. If that is the case I think we can at least get one monkey off our back, and that's stop being the whipping post and gain some respectability.
  14. I know, some people are just delusional. How could anyone think we're not going undefeated?
  15. No, he's Akbar Zib.
  16. I thought I'd share a cruel and unusual joke my Mother in Law sent me today. And she wonders why we don't get along. I met a fairy today that granted me one wish. "I want to live forever, " I said. "Sorry" said the fairy, "I'm not allowed to grant wishes like that! "Fine" I said, "I want to die after the Bills win the Super Bowl!" "You crafty bastard," said the fairy.
  17. Career backup, but he worked hard and proved himself to be a good one.
  18. Dog - Thanks man, you're right works exactly like "my assistant". Yeah, I wish there was a way to have a response indicator. Like this response for example. You may not even find out that I thanked you for helping me with this, unless you just arbitrarily thought "hey wonder if Buffalonian thanked me for helping him, let me check."
  19. Well I was on the side of Ralph isn't cheap, until I read this post. But now that you're sure he would have paid 10 mil per for a coach, but didn't promise to sign players, it's really got me thinking. It's like he just won't do both. He'll either sign a coach or pay players, he's tricking us fans and I'm tired of it. He won't build a winner, because he's spending too much time figuring out how to fill that darn stadium, and spending just enough to fool us into supporting the team. How does he figure out how to fool us year after year?
  20. How do you see if someone has responded to you? I have been going to my content, but then I have to scroll through the whole post to find mine, then see if someone has posted after that in response. Is this the best way? Sorry in advance if someone else has already asked this and an answer has been given.
  21. I'm the one that started the original Ralph is not cheap thread. What drives me nuts about your argument is simple. Your screen name is "Bills Fan in Florida". So you are a fan of a team you believe the owner will not allow to be a winner? How do you do this? Don't you almost feel like a fool rooting for a team you believe is conspired against by its owner? You come on a Bills site and post 589 times about a team you have convinced yourself won't and can't win because the owner won't let it? Aren't you embarrassed to reveal that you root for a team that can't win? If I convinced myself of this, I couldn't spend my time or money being involved.
  22. So you don't think protection has anything to do with our QB's decision making?
  23. I think most of us understand what you're saying. But say we are pick 9-12 next year, we would have to give the following years first round pick in addition to possibly a second or third round pick. I just don't think it's worth the risk to mortgage the future like that. History doesn't prove it to work either. It's best to stay put and evaluate the players the best you can.
