  1. Can you say special teams. LB's and Safeties make perfect special teams players. My guess is these decisions weighed heavily on that premise.
  2. I never said move Wood. We are set at interior lineman, but have no depth. All I'm saying is the depth is at the Tackle position. Therefore we aren't going to be looking for Tackles to start, so if we look for O lineman it should be for depth at the Center/Guard positions.
  3. My post wasn't intended to be taken personal, I just honestly couldn't follow what you were saying because most of it was a contradiction. I actually think you're being too hard on yourself. Hardy was the right pick, the fans were right to want him, and get excited about the pick. The fact that he didn't work out rest solely on the shoulders of James Hardy. The reason I know this is, we saw with our own eyes what the kid did in college and the type of player he was. For him to play the way he did is a disappointment. And the reason it's a disappointment isn't because the fans or the front office were wrong about him, it's because James Hardy failed to exercise his potential.
  4. Tackle, to start? We need way more depth at Guard/Center.
  5. When do fans make draft picks? But you think we should have cut him based on film you watched? So we should cut players based on film fans watch? I don't get your post. Parrish was a 1st round draft pick? 2nd round, 55th overall. I'm not sure I understand what horse you're beating.
  6. The crazy thing is all the college footage I saw of him showed the complete opposite.
  7. My guess is he was told he'd be retained on the PS.
  8. Maybe, if they need the spot to pick up another lineman.
  9. It's being reported other places. This is usually a credible site. My guess is he took it down, figuring saying "I'm going to have to find a new home", would diminish his chances of getting a practice squad offer. However they usually tell you about the PS when they tell you that you didn't make the 53 man roster. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2010/9/4/1669208/thanks-buffalo-for-all-the-support#comments
  10. They might be thin at the moment, but they aren't after week 4. They aren't going to bring in a guy to be a backup for 4 games.
  11. This is the kind of player I wish the Bills would pursue. Not a big contract guy, so you don't have to tie up too much money at the WR position, and can contribute. Heck I would give a 4th round pick for him.
  12. I'm not sold on this yet. We have a marginal number one and a question mark at #2. We may even have to wait for Nelson in year two or three. We have some interesting prospects, but guys that can be counted on to be a solid number 2, not sure YET.
  13. I know this isn't a huge deal, but I like the way Gailey thinks more and more. I love a coach that is a step ahead, and then you think "yeah that is a smart move" about something you weren't necessarily paying attention to yourself.
  14. He seems like a nice kid and everything, but I'm not sure he's picking things up. When his teammates were talking to him about missing his assignment he seemed total clueless to what they were saying. He's got major foot work issues. My guess is he doesn't play much this year. Bigger project than most thought, including the Jets.
  15. There's absolutely no way he gets even sniffed at by us. The total opposite QB needed in Buffalo.
  16. Well if Flutie divided the locker room, the half that went with him were right.
  17. What about a Baby Joe Mesi comeback?
  18. But WNY can afford to build a new stadium for the Giants and Jets? Believe me, you paid for that. It's time New York State stops ignoring the WNY area.
  19. Except that its in suburban Orchard Park. The Bills should be in a strategic place that helps businesses around it flourish, and I don't mean 7-11.
  20. I'm not saying I disagree with the Hardy selection, as he is a popular choice for obvious reasons. But if we give up on him, he will get signed in a day or two. I just don't want to regret not being sure about him, as I think anyone will admit, we're not sure whether he can play or not. 900 Baby! I'm movin' on up, to the deluxe apartment in the sky.
