To be honest I think we will sweep the NFC East.

I don't think there's ever been a team that won every single week AND did it pretty on both sides of the ball. We have a team with a good offense and a middling defense that plays with heart. To quote an Eagles fan in the bar I was at, "These Bills sure play hard." 4 out of 5 games, they've made the crucial stops when they needed to. Is there room for improvement? Absolutely. Is the sky falling? No.

Quick question. I've heard George Wilson referred to as "The Senator" in a few places and I believe some Sullivan articles--how/why did he get this nickname, and is it from the players, press, fans, or what?

Agreed. I think with the switch from the 90's uniforms to the dark blue ones they lost a lot of "classic appeal." The new ones to me have a classic look while not looking in the least bit dated.

Don't forget the Drop Kick rule guys for the one point. It would actually be pretty sweet to win a superbowl that way.

What a great set of highlights, gotta love boomer. I just watched it like 6 times lol. They are just absolutely electrifying! One thing I loved was Fred Jackson's interview, you can really see the emotion just pouring out of him, his connection with the fans is just awesome. Almost sounds like he's choked up when he talks about how the whole city is behind them. LOVE IT!

This to me was the best part of the game. I watched the game on TV, but at times even through that the raw energy in the stadium was overwhelming. I think it took a game like this, at least for me personally, to realize how starved as a fan I've felt for the last decade. I'm just so used to watching them buckle that it has become a habit to hope for the best but deep down expect and be prepared for the worst. But I never felt like that today, even when they were down at the half. It was easily the best Bills game I've seen in a decade--I'm still in awe. I love everything about where this team is at right now, despite the flaws.

There actually was a redskins player a few years ago who accidentally posted a dick pick on his blog, he took a picture of a playbook that was sitting in his lap in the locker room, and the rest was history...

I think we should hire hire Matt Millen.

...what if the reason the team "didn't prep" against the 3-4 is because Jauron doesn't want the Patriots* to get any free looks in anticipation of the week 1 match-up? I mean, I really don't want to give him that much credit, but a guy has to wonder if he's got something besides unflavored oatmeal on his mind.

What if, instead of playing JP in a wildcat, we tried something inventive for once and put TE, JP, and Fred Jaxon in the same formation. Imagine the hijinx you could pull with that.

I'd be more worried about the Jets in NY than the Pats at home. Also, I think we can handle the dolphins this time. There's a chance, but "prepare for heartbreak."

Yeah, we basically need a few of the players to handle that aspect of coaching, since Jauron doesn't seem to do anything of the sort. I wish our coach were more of an !@#$.

Yeah, this was huge. Edwards knows how to find him, and he is a nice pressure release for other areas of the receiving game, as well as being a great blocker as was said. One problem with Losman was that he could never seem to find Reed, who really is a good player.

You know who I think we should pick up as a D. Coordinator? Ted Cotrell.
