Mort makes up "facts" once again
Captain Quint replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Old news. The little known news is that he was also a sword swallower. -
He's been basically a nonfactor this season, which is disappointing. I'm embarrassed, but I was saying before training camp that he would have a breakout year this year and be one of the brightest spots on defense. Boy was I wrong! All the pieces of the puzzle seemed to fit (size & strength, quickness, the addition of Stroud next to him, etc.) but I guess one of the things that you can't judge is what someone's thinking and the motivation factor. My guess is that he's out at the end of the year, but with 16 of 22 starters being drafted by the Bills FO, there's bound to be 1 or 2 busts in there. Oh yeah, I'd officially call him a bust if his season continues the way it's going now.

Jags Richard Collier Paralyzed

Thats terrible. Still no motive behind why it happened and still no suspect. Animals... -
I think that they are just young and that the teams they've played poorly against early (Raiders & Rams) we're bringing everything they had since, coincidentally, both of their coaches we're on the hot seat. I mean, how many safety blitzes do the Rams usually run per game? It couldn't be as many as we saw yesterday in addition to the reverses, the counter pitch, etc. on offense. Both the Raiders and Rams pulled out all the stops, but we were able to comeback in both of those games.

Playing .500 ball the rest of the season...

I heard yesterday that starting off 4-0 will get you to the playoffs 88% of the time. I like those odds! -

The Bills are putting themselves in a bad position
Captain Quint replied to ieatcrayonz's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I don't get it. -
Its probably something that is going to continue to happen until we do beat somebody perceived as a powerhouse. The Cards game this week will be our biggest game yet, IMO. They have a very good offense (even though Warner had 25 turnovers yesterday) and it should be a shootout. The D is going to have to get alot better for AZ and for the Chargers after the bye week. If we beat AZ and SD, there should be no questions as to if the Bills are for real or not.

No he wouldn't. McGee has 5 PD's and 2 ints and 15 tackles compared to Porter who has 3 and 1 and 20.
-
He lost the game for them against the Redskins. He doesn't return kicks or punts. He has 20 tackles in 4 games, 1 int, and 3 PD's. To put that in perspective, McGee has 5 PD and 2 ints with 15 tackles and he's considered an average corner. And McGee hasn't lost a game for the Bills. I'll take Leodis who has 10 kickoff returns for 277 yds and actually helps his team win games, not lose them. But wait, who is the better returner? Would you say that Porter is the better returner because he hasn't returned a kick yet? Where does that stem from? Oh thats right, the front office needs Bush to start....

$100.00 REWARD and a free ticket To Bills game
Captain Quint replied to DIE HARD 1967's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good luck in the search! It will be tough since VCR's we're yet to come, but there has to be someone, right? You may want to try NBC or whoever was broadcasting the game, too. -
Buffalo Bills on Facebook
Captain Quint replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know for a fact that Marshawns is. I messaged him and then he messaged me and then next thing you know, we're two bottles of Patrone into the night and doing the no pants dance (if you know what I mean). j/k. No clue. -

Someone's still cranky!? Here's an idea, grow a beard and then have some alone time with yourself. It'll be like you're ******* JP! -
He is also on the cover of USA Today this week. What a blow to the team!

The Spooky Correlation between
Captain Quint replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought about this last week when I joked with a friend of mine that it would be Bills Cowboys in the SB. The only good thing about the conference being that strong is that they will all have to play each other twice, which means that a couple of the better teams in the league will probably miss the playoffs. -
Interesting observation from the game
Captain Quint replied to nodnarb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They blitzed the entire game. The difference was that the line tightened up in the 4th quarter and nobody was breaking through like in the beginning of the game. -

He looked out of shape to me. Also, the difference in his play in the first half was night & day. This leads me to believe one of two things: 1) He shook off the rust at halftime and will dominate from here on out (because his form in the 4th quarter was as good as any game last year) 2) he was dogging it in the first half I don't know if we're going to see the same Jason Peters that we saw last year, the one who was consistently dominant. He could be trying to prove some point (that the Bills need him), he could be out of shape, or it could be a combination of the two. -
Why it isn't wise to keep the demoted QB as Backup
Captain Quint replied to billfan63's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually its probably like after you get a haircut how you want to get the shirt off of you because no matter how much you try, the hairs will stay in there until the shirt is washed. In this case, the haircut is Trent and the shirt is JP. -

I believe that its a phrase that refers to an old, old wooden ship, used during the civil war era. -
I once cornered a raccoon in a motor home and it lunged at me and bit my arm so bad that I had to get rabies treatments every week for the next 2 months. Moral of the story? I stomped the raccoon to death with my boot.
