  1. Link Obviously we wouldn't make a move for him, but its interesting to see him on the block rather than the one who wants to be there. I guess it goes to show you that the squeaky wheel doesn't always get the grease.
  2. I left hating the French. Seriously... a QB named St. Pierre??? Get real. I saw him on the Cards sideline this past week.
  3. You mean by resting the starting defense? I agree.
  4. Funny, that was also my nickname in high school.
  5. Porter's the best! McKelvin sucks!
  6. http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d8...mp;confirm=true
  7. Looks like not much has changed at all today with his status: http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d8...mp;confirm=true
  8. I agree 100%. We need to go 4-2 in the division this year and we'll be in the playoffs!
  9. The long TD pass and the two straight sacks define JP's play so far in his career. For every positive thing he does, there's 2 negative ones coming down the pipe right behind it. Good QB's find ways to minimize the number of negative plays in a game.
  10. Thats a big assumption, but I see your point.
  11. I think that is his plan, too. This would be "Phase 2" I guess.
  12. You don't know what you're talking about!
  13. Assistant coach: Jim Schwartz, defensive coordinator, Tennessee Titans. He has the league's best defense. He's also one of the smartest coaches in the game. That adds up to impressive results. Give him a head-coaching job. Runners-up: Steve Spagnuolo, defensive coordinator, Giants; Rex Ryan, defensive coordinator, Ravens; Turk Schonert, offensive coordinator, Bills.
  14. Skein is a group of geese "in flight". Here's what I found for sedge: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_a_group_of_herons_called
  15. I take that back. It's a term used to describe geese (not member's of the finch family) that are not in flight, so in this case, although we're talking about cardinals, we're also talking about injured cardinals who aren't "in flight". Well played, sir! My deepest apologies, from one seacaptain to another. -Quint
  16. Actually, in this case, I believe that it would be a flock. A gaggle or sedge refers to seafaring birds like the goose or heron. You may want to revise that title. -Quint
  17. I don't get it. There wasn't much of anything in that post.
  18. I'm in!
  19. I don't get how we're at #6, AZ is at #22, and he says "if the Bills somehow find a way to win against AZ". I know its a west coast game, and AZ is coming off of two losses, but I don't think that "somehow" was the right word there. I don't think it will surprise too many people if the Bills end up winning on Sunday.
