  1. So glad the Red Sox lost last night. I really can't deal with any more media coverage of that team. Dallas is getting to be just as bad.
  2. I was wondering the same thing. Gates only had 4 catches for like 60 yards, so the pass coverage was pretty good. Maybe Ellison had something to do with that because I didn't really hear his name mentioned at all.
  3. Doubtful. Buffalo will resign him at a secondary contract. He isn't an every down back and Buffalo coaches recognize that. He'll be making much more money after this year, but hopefully, it will be for the Bills. I like Jackson as an off back, who is completely different that Lynch. He's got great explosion, but only when there is a a 'Marshawn' type back in front of him. He'll have a pretty good NFL career, but if he goes to another team to be a starter, he's not going to be the chess piece that he is now.
  4. Its not delivery, it's 'who cares'? Get well soon, John!!
  5. Cinci. From what I saw today, they're at the point where they don't know what to do. I see TJ, CJ, and Palmer all being out of there by 2010. Palmer's signed through 2014, but with far less options to throw to, I could see them cutting Palmer and starting new in 2010. They have to do something drastic.
  6. Hey what happened?! My power went out.
  7. I'm not saying that he's done or that the team isn't doing Ok, but I think that everyone was hoping that he'd make an immediate impact (like DeSean Jackson) rather than making no impact. It does suck in that regard, but in my opinion, most rookies take at least 2 years to really get accustomed to the NFL. He'll have a bunch of chances this year to make a difference in individual games, but he won't be a real difference maker for the Bills until at least 2009-2010.
  8. Lol... Thats true, but at the same time, this win never would have happened with JP in there. I don't know anyone who could contest that. There is a reason why he is a backup and why he will continue to be a backup.
  9. Its just not going to happen this season. It sucks, but we'll have to wait at least a year for him to calm down.
  10. Excellent write up. Thanks for everything. Can't wait for this one!!! Go Bills!!! -Quint
  11. Apparently he doesn't realize that Buffalo is IN New York. Talk about a lack of communication.
  12. Doubtful he would be considered an option in Jax or Dallas considering the QB's they have. In AZ, Warner is old so it's possible, but after what he has shown in his career, do you really think that any GM in the NFL will give him a chance to screw up an already "put together" team? Not a chance. AZ will go after one of the numerous other free agent QB's after this season who have already proven that they can win when they have a good team. JP's never had a great team around him, but no GM will roll the dice with him, and I can't say that I blame them. He'll be a backup wherever he goes.
  13. Nope. Washed up. You're wrong
  14. I wouldn't count on Bowan to do anything other than special teams. He's smaller than Keith Ellison, and he just blew out his knee, which will probably slow him down some. I didn't understand this pick other than for special teams purposes.
  15. Its funny though, when you get a real football fan, even from another team to come and experience a game at the Ralph, my experience is that they almost always have a great time. Not a completely family-friendly environment, but if you want to make it that way, sit in the family section and don't tailgate. To a pencil-pushing, know it all Jets fan from NYC, I'm sure we are "bad fans", but what's his idea of good football fans? Jacksonville's retired librarian crowd?
  16. Bingo. I welcome it, and hopefully on the first day of the draft.
  17. I've heard of him! Get r done!!!!!!

  19. I believe that they're 1 for $3 or 2 for $5.
  20. Ah, so it's Brown's fault! My apologies, Sir Gimp.
  21. What I'm saying is that the original quoter changed the quote from saying that it "wasn't unrealistic" to "wasn't realistic". Sort of defeats the purpose of his post if it was to rag on the front office or Chris Brown.
  22. Here's the actual quote from One Bills Drive: In light of the AFC picture right now, I don’t think it’s unrealistic to say the Bills are a playoff contender and Gonzalez would make them that much more formidable. But if the Chiefs are looking for a first-round pick and change, that’s a lot to give up. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2008/10/13/gonzalez-update/
