  1. I've always loved Tom Coughlin. I've always thought that he could be a Super Bowl winning coach, then he did it last year, proving me right. I NEVER would have called for him to be fired like the Giants fans did.
  2. The reason that everyone is saying that they want Cowher is because he's the opposite of Jauron. He's loud, animated, and is a "take no sh--" kind of guy. He would be an upgrade to what we have now, but I'd rather see Marty in here than Cowher. The price will be lower and he fits our team better.
  3. Yeah, but he's 90. It's time for him to at least step down and hand the reigns to someone else. It's getting to the point of being ridiculous now. 90 year olds can't even tie their shoes, much less run an NFL franchise (which he is way too involved with). The thought of a 90 year old man in the war room at last years draft is just embarrassing. Wishing he would die is being insensitive, I agree, but I think the gist of what people are saying is GET OUT OF THE WAY!! Let someone with a sound mind and someone who was born in the latter half of the 20th century run the team. It's no offense to the old timers on this board or in general, but none of us will be running an NFL franchise at 90, and probably 99% of us will be dead or retired.
  4. It doesn't matter what team it is, or what sport it is, if the team is playing badly, the message boards will light up with "fire this person" and "hire this person" and "the problem is....". Bills fans are no worse than other cities or groups of fans, its just because you're engulfed in this one.
  5. Although it is a joke, one thing that I remember about early in the year when we were winning is him flying down on every kickoff and just laying someone out. He at least gave us a little spark each game and showed the rest of the teams that they aren't all a bunch of pu$$ies. Even if his hit didn't help the kickoff return, or even if he didn't tackle the ball carrier, he still did have an impact beyond that. On a sidenote, I think it's safe to say that the fullback experiment this season was a failure. They certainly didn't help us run the ball more effectively.
  6. I think that this does have something to do with it. When you drop back into shotgun formation 15 times a game (even on 3rd & short and on the goalline), its pretty obvious that you aren't running the ball. I don't understand why they abandoned the run so early in the year, and believe that is one of the main reasons for our midseason slide. However, the TE who was playing in the first few games is not the same as the one that was playing against Miami, NYJ, or SF. His confidence is clearly shaken, and the way to get a young QB's confidence back is to run the ball to take the pressure off of him. In order for this team to be successful, they're going to need to find that mix of run/pass because Trent isn't a QB who will take over a game and throw it 40 times, and Marshawn isn't a back who can consistently run for 130yds and a TD. I don't see it as a regression, I see it more as some growing pains that all young QB's/ teams will go through.
  7. Actually, it will be closing to 54,000 people at the game. The place only holds that many. Combine that with the Raptors crowd and its pretty much the same amount of people at the Ralph, but more roads surrounding to get out.
  8. I have the Storm and love it compared to the iPhone. I've had the iPhone since it came out, but after you use it for 6 months, it becomes bogged down, and the screen starts to act up. I took mine into the Apple store 3 different times, had them reprogram it, and it still wouldn't work like when I first got it. The apps are cool, but not as cool as advertised. It almost seems like they release the first versions of them before testing everything out. I got the Storm last month, and have loved it so far. I haven't had any problems typing with it, but I'm used to the iPhone so that may have something to do with it. Don't get me wrong, the iPhone is good, but if I had to choose between the two, I'd go with the Storm.
  9. I think McGee is going to tear it up this game. With the game that a player like Ginn had against him last time, he should be ready to prove himself against him this week. Ginn's play this year has greatly improved, but last time we played them, his stats were obviously skewed.

  11. “I’ve been reviewing Darren’s internship journal. Doing laundry, mending chicken wire, high tea with a Mr. Newman?” “Well, it all sounds pretty glamourous, but it’s business as usual at Kramerica.” “As far as I can tell, your entire enterprise is little more than a solitary man with a messy apartment which may or may not contain a chicken.” ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Kramer: Coming up on the right, if you glance up you can just make out my bedroom window. It's the one that's covered in chicken wire.
  12. Internet speed is amazing. You get free ESPN360 service with it, and watching football games on the internet looks very close to an HDTV. If you've got a flatscreen or a good TV, you can extend your desktop onto your flatscreen and it's basically like watching a game on ESPN because its so fast. No little squares or pauses.
  13. Gotta support the team.
  14. Nice on Schobel & Whitner. I thought you couldn't practice when you're on IR?
  15. What you said makes a lot more sense than a maniacal Ralph demanding that they draft Wright. I noticed that Rd 1/ Rd 4 trend after the draft this year as well.
  16. What about the "Trent sucks because I suck JP" reasoning. Thats also getting old.
  17. How many times do you see players get injured and then end up on the sideline for the second half? I would say that 8 out of 10 injuries end that way if they have to be taken out of a game. Unless its an injury where you need an immediate MRI, a neck injury, or a bad knee injury, they're coming back out onto the sideline to finish the game with their team. This isn't a blown out knee or anything, its more of a nuisance injury.
  18. This article states otherwise. As of right now, he's questionable for the game on Sunday and is "day-to-day": Link

  22. What about Ted Rogers II & Ted Rogers III? Have they shown interest in the Bills or any team?
  23. So, what implications does this have for us moving to Toronto? Was it him personally that had talked about moving a franchise to Toronto, or was it his family or trust?
  24. Good to see that he's on the hot seat, again. Also, interesting quote: He might have to back up a little bit now, as well. But it's always easier for a tough coach to lighten up than for a laid-back coach to become tougher.
