  1. Only if This is somehow involved.
  2. Right. Technically, Fine played in the last 8 games, and started the last 4. Royal didn't start after the Cleveland game, per NFL.com.
  3. What if Darryl Talley was stopping in for pancakes at the same time?
  4. I could be wrong here, but doesn't Hargrove have to serve a suspension when he comes back, too?
  5. Tell that to Jackson, who will watch guys like Copeland Bryan, Xavier Omon, Alvin Bowen, Corey McIntyre, Ryan Neill and the rest of team (minus 5 guys) make more than him this season. That's what he just went through this past season, too. It's obvious that he'll "get by" on $460K, but it's more important to NFL players to get paid what they are worth based on position & skill rather than get paid enough to get by.
  6. Hopefully. I'd like to see a 3 year deal for him.
  7. Yeah me either. It's kind of disappointing that they didn't lock him up longer than this year. He's getting paid $460K for the upcoming season. What a joke of a salary for someone who is going to start the season at RB for an NFL team. It's a good business move by the Bills, but at what cost? Will Fred even want to sign a multi year deal with us next year? EDIT: I guess this is the plan: Owners are opting out of the collective-bargaining agreement two years early, creating an uncapped season in 2010 and setting into motion rules that would keep Jackson an exclusive-rights player one more year. His tender for 2010 would be $545,000 -- a bargain for the Bills. http://myespn.go.com/blogs/afceast/0-5-26/...from-Bills.html Basically, to run him through the ringer for the next two years at the minimum and then release him.
  8. It doesn't really make sense for Buffalo to not retain Jackson. He's in a unique situation where we can pay him next to nothing and at least keep him on the roster. Even if we plan on trading him (which I think is doubtful), why not wait a year and then trade him if that's the plan? Unless there's something missing from the equation, there's really no good reason not to keep Jackson this year, regardless of future plans. My guess is that we lock him up this offseason for 3yrs rather than fool around and wait until next year when he's an UFA.

  10. It's possible that they see Fred Taylor as an upgrade to Fred Jackson and that's why they're bringing him in.
  11. "...so basically it's 37.50 for a Three Musketeer's bar?"
  12. Loved it. DVR'ed last night's episode and haven't watched it yet, but the pilot was awesome. Danny McBride is the man. If you haven't seen 'Foot Fist Way', you should!
  13. It's definitely fast. We have it at work, and when you watch streaming video, it looks like you're watching it on a flat screen. No little squares whatsoever. Also, there's barely any waiting when you download something. Even if it's a few hundred MB's, it's done within a minute. I'm sure home users can provide more input, but from my experience, it works well.
  14. I prefer black ash, because it tends to be a bit bigger and less expensive.
  15. That was nice of them to let Jauron push his hotdog cart around the combine.
  16. Awesome, thanks for posting. Had no idea that there was a free preview this week. I'm in Philly so I could watch on the Philly feed, but that's great that I can watch on MSG-B.
  17. I thought you had overshot it, too, but it seems to be the other way around.
  18. They will be. I usually go to the Sabers game at the Comcast center when they play here, but not tonight. I typically like to sit higher, but that's just because I usually have to buy my ticket. You'll be amazed at how fast they really move, and you'll be able to follow the puck alot better than on TV. The venue is a good place to watch a game, too. Good beer selection (last time I was there, they had two places that had Labatt's on tap) and awesome food selection. Also, the difference between an Eagles game and a Flyers game is night and day. Philly isn't a hockey city, so you probably won't get booed or called an !@#$ too bad, but if you do, it's just a knee jerk reaction from a typical Philly fan. Have fun!
  19. Well, he was mixed in there for the last 8 games of the season and started the last 4 games (according to the NFL site). I think a rookie, coming off of a preseason injury is a pretty tough spot to be in. He probably spent most of the season last year working to get his body ready, and couldn't focus as much on the mental aspect of the game. I think this offseason will be very important in his development.
  20. The positive to this is that there are some really good TE's in this years draft and even if we don't address it this year for whatever reason, there's some good ones coming down the pipe next year as well.
  21. Damn, I was hoping we could pursue him. It would have been one less position that we have to target in the draft. Oh well.
  22. You obviously missed the point. Complimentary RB's sometimes have higher YPC because they get less carries, it doesn't mean that they are the better back. Thomas averaged 4.3 ypc in his first season and 4.2 ypc in his second season. Lynch also has more TD's thus far in his career. Let's give Lynch some time, shall we?
