  1. Lol this is an EXTREMELY arrogant post, after going to UB for 4 years I can say with confidence that about 85-90% of Bills fans are complete idiots.

Are you sure that you aren't the idiot with that extremely arrogant post?

How about this, after attending Boston College for 6 yrs (BS & MSF), I've found that people from Boston are extremely arrogant, blow hards, and easily the most annoying people that I've lived around.

  2. Really? I was just in Philly (granted, it was the better part of Philly) and I found it delightful.

Philly is nice for the most part, I've lived here for about 5 years now, but there are bad parts that are real sketchy, too.

Since TO left here, the media jumps all over him for everything. And I mean EVERYTHING! Every chance they get to take a shot at him they do it, so expect to see more and more of these articles. I'm sure that Dallas & San Fran have similar tastes in their mouths, too, but it doesn't seem as bad as what Philly gives him. I guess that it's kind of warranted because he left them to go play for their most hated rival, but most of the articles (like this one) reach so much, that it comes off as whining.

  3. I mean, you have to like what they say on on bb.com:

"Fitzpatrick (6’2” 225) started 12 games completing better than 59 percent of his passes. He threw for over 1,900 yards with eight touchdowns and nine interceptions and a passer rating of 70. The Harvard product played his first two NFL seasons with St. Louis.

“There comes a point where you can’t really improve or grow unless you’re on the field and last year was a big step for me in terms of getting those 12 starts,” said Fitzpatrick.

Buffalo made no secret that they wanted to add a veteran quarterback as a backup to Trent Edwards, that understands his role. The coaching staff is hopeful that a veteran can help to mentor Edwards on the finer points of the game as he continues to develop.

“I think it’s helped me a lot in my career to play behind Marc Bulger and Carson Palmer,” said Fitzpatrick. “I’ve been able to see how they approach the game, and in doing that I’ve been able to help them out. I think that’s what I’m going to bring here. Trent is still a young guy and I’m going to help him out with his preparation. I’m going to be his eyes when he’s on the field and I’m looking forward to that relationship.”

Fitzpatrick is considered a superior student of the game with good character marks all the way around. "

That's called putting lipstick on a pig.

  4. Just got a VText that said "Coles touring Bills practice facility at OBD"

I say, out of those guys:

    1. Evans

    2. Coles

    3. Reed

    4. Johnson

    5. Parrish

    6. Hardy

Jenkins primary role is for ST, so I can't see why we would keep him over any viable receiving threat. That said, Hardy better earn his keep this year or else next year, he could be off the bottom of the list. It's going to be tough for someone that tall to effectively come back from the ACL tear, so hopefully he's been rehabbing like a mofo.

5 wide might actually be exciting this year, especially if we get a good receiving TE.

  5. There was a similar column awhile back:

"...as I walked into Mr Burn's, er, Coach Juaron's office, I saw that he had his head down on his desk and seemed to be fast asleep. Not just dozed off, but that deep REM sleep where he was talking to himself. I thought that I heard him say something about a unicorn, but I couldn't be sure.

So now, as I stood there, I had quite the dilemma facing me. Should I wake him or just let him sleep. I took the opportunity to check out his office. He had grocery lists everywhere, dry cleaning receipts, pretty much everything other than football related materials. I thought it best to just sit down and read until he awoke, but all I could find was a few old Redbook magazines and again, didn't know what to do.

No sooner did I have time to decide than in walked what appeared to be a mummy. No really, I thought that I had found myself in Jauron's dream, but this was real! As the mummy got closer, I realized that it was actually the living legend Ralph Wilson Jr. who had cut himself shaving earlier in the day and had toilet paper all over his face. I reached out and shook his hand. He held it for a minute, which I thought was strange, but then I realized that he had stolen my cufflink! Once again, I was faced with a decision, but decided to let it go.

Next thing I know, Russ Brandon (who I'm still not sure what his job was because I never met him) went running down the hallway, naked, covered in suds and soaking wet saying, 'Hey, did somebody need me?!' and laughing hysterically. It was obvious that he was in the shower and did this all the time, because the rest of the people didn't even blink and eye. In fact, I heard someone say, 'Look who trimmed his chest hair this weekend!'

After that, I left, not knowing what just happened, but somehow, in the midst of it all, I signed a $50MM contract! Great organization!"

  6. How do you figure - he looked mostly awful last year. He is an Ivy leaguer so jauron will probably have the hots for him.:lol:

Like I said, at least he won the last 3 games he started. Remember that he's just a backup QB. He'll at least be able to step in and not fumble the game away (hopefully). Did anyone really think that someone like Garcia was going to come to Buffalo to be a #2QB? You're fooling yourselves if you did.

  7. let them talk all they want bart scott is back in negotiations with balt not signed anything and greer according to lombardi wants to stay in bflo and will give the final say

everyone thought scott was a jet but he has not signed and balt is back in it it was just announced on Sirius and i have not heard or read nothing pertaining to greer and the jets anywhere.

    relax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you're wrong about Scott, but I agree about Greer. I haven't heard anything about him today.

    Per Rotoworld:

Jets sign ILB Scott for 5 years, $40 million

Jets signed ILB Bart Scott to a five-year, $40 million contract.

Clearly, Scott was looking to max out. The "Mad Backer" turned down a deal from Baltimore worth $7.5 million annually to get $8 million a year from New York. Scott, 29 in August, will start inside next to David Harris. Rex Ryan is more familiar with Scott and figures to use him in the old Ray Lewis role while Harris takes on more blocks. Scott is a disruptive blitzer when given the freedom to do so. He's also durable and will be an IDP to target. Feb. 27 - 12:03 pm et
