'Praying for Dion' Dawkins: Top Bills Lineman Leaves Camp
extrahammer replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
Looks like lil johnny here woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Stop being emotional. -
So Knox drops two passes in practice and suddenly he's not any good anymore? Come on folks...

Oh yeah says who? If this was a race in jumping to conclusions you'd be the champion this morning.

Why Big Tech Is Making a Big Play for Live Sports
extrahammer replied to notwoz's topic in The Stadium Wall
This has been expected for almost a decade now. Remember when Yahoo paid $20 million to stream that Bills Jags game from the UK online? https://fanbuzz.com/nfl/yahoo-is-paying-20-million-to-broadcast-a-bills-jaguars-game/ That was tech companies testing out their technology and the business model around it. Then you had Amazon dip their toes in, then they acquired Thursday Night Football, Facebook with MLB, etc. But tech companies already own grocery stores, automobile companies, hospitals, insurance companies, appliance companies, and more, so expect that to continue as well. -
Jerry Sullivan weighs in on 2022-23 season !
extrahammer replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Or maybe they realized they didn't need him because they are the Buffalo News. Looks like they haven't skipped a beat since he left either, so the "wusses" comment is just salt in the wounds. He said Josh's skills regressed and that's just dumb. Honestly it reads like he spent 10 minutes writing it. -
Jerry Sullivan weighs in on 2022-23 season !
extrahammer replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like Sully's skepticism sometimes, sometimes it's good. Most of the time though it's an outplayed schtick that he grew into, then became comfortable and lazy with it during the drought. Maybe he can get better with age but I don't know if he really wants to. Anyway... Allen regressed? Like did he really regress or did Sully just glance at stats from last year and go "oh they're slightly down so he's worse"? Didn't Sully go to every game last year? 🤔 Does Sully not believe throwing into 40 mph winds can alter the trajectory of a football? Does he even believe in wind, climate, or that the earth is round? You never can tell. And there were two games where the weather was definitely a factor and if you take a DEEPER look at the stats Sully, you can see that - https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/josh-allen-at-home-vs.-away This isn't news, it's something that's been observed, discussed, and understood among a majority of Bills fans and most in the media for the last two years. Why is Josh's accuracy so much better in away games? I'd love to get Sully's opinion on that but that probably wouldn't play up his schtick. That all being said, sometimes he's right... and I think the plus 194 point differential with 6 losses is a good point, I think that's on McD and coaches at this point with all this talent. Also at this point with Tre White still rehabbing and his status uncertain when he's able to go, that leaves us with a rookie starting CB and loss of Wallace in the secondary. Von Miller's addition will help the secondary I'm sure, but I'd still prefer another CB, like Haden or someone. That's our biggest weakness right now IMO. That and possibly more passive dribble from Sully. -
After reading through the Tyrod legacy thread (really makes you love the offseason) I woke up this morning wanting to fight by ranking the top 3 quarterbacks for the Bills between the Post-Kelly era and before Josh arrived. Curious how each of you would rank the Bills quarterbacks between 1997-2017, here are your options: Todd Collins Doug Flutie Rob Johnson (pro tip: this is not the answer) Alex Van Pelt Drew Bledsoe J.P. Losman Kelly Holcomb Trent Edwards Ryan Fitzpatrick Brian Brohm E.J. Manuel Thad Lewis Jeff Tuel Kyle Orton Tyrod Taylor Matt Cassel Nathaniel Peterman Who are your top 3?

He is what he is, an athletic-style game manager with some accuracy issues. I don't think he's greatest in the league, but I also don't think you have a 12 year NFL career being terrible.

Jordan Poyer on Tyreek Hill's Podcast / Youtube
extrahammer replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like Poyer, hearing him talk more in-depth about alcoholism and how he acknowledged it only makes me respect him even more, didn't realize how bad it got for him. We got a standup guy. -
All I know is Davis has been training like a horse this off-season, literally it's the only thing he posts on IG, like every few hours it's him running routes, catching balls, or lifting weights. You can't fake that, I bet he doubles his receiving yards and TD's this year. He's underrated after the catch too.

Oh the network named after the egomaniac that started it? No thanks. -
Hyde & Poyer via Cover 1 with preface from Belichek
extrahammer replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Me wonders if Belichick is laying the foundation to try to recruit them to New England when they're ready to retire, that has been part of the NE Free Agency strategy over the last decade or so. -

That actually would be dope. Mine were Bruce Smith, Lil Dirty, and Joe Pesci. -
Kim Pegula is receiving medical care
extrahammer replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
There were bad, unsubstantiated rumors about Kim earlier and Wawrow said they were unsubstantiated and some posters got sensitive about it. -
Kim Pegula is receiving medical care
extrahammer replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Two things: 1. Sweet tea is just tea overloaded with sugar. 2. Wawrow was right and a few of y'all need to stop trolling him for being a good journalist and then whining because no one will entertain a merit-less rumor. -
Renting a house in Buffalo for the season
extrahammer replied to extrahammer's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just want to thank everyone for the overwhelming response, feel free to keep them coming but just wanted to say how much I appreciate everyone recommending things to check out, right now I have a list of about 15-20 things. I know people say there's not much to do in Buffalo, but IMO it's like any other place, it is what you and your friends and family make of it. 🍺
