With some of the fan discussion about McD, curious at this point how many would support going after a Sean Payton.

That's not what I asked, show me where he's made an error in judgement in the past in his reporting.

To me McD lacks good game management skills and that killer mindset. I think it shows up in close games often, it's like he never takes control of the situation, seems passive and let's the coordinators and players do whatever they want. The Vikings have played stellar in the 2nd half in all of their games, we came out in the 2nd half and didn't try to establish any continued rhythm. When it was 4th and 2 at the Minnesota 22 yard line and we kicked the field goal, when Ferguson got the flag, I think we should have gone for the 4th and 2 then. If we get the first down and then score, we're up 34-10. Instead we played conservative and didn't go for any 4th downs until Minnesota had read the room with Edmunds out on the next series and gashed us for 81 yards.

Nothing good comes from unsubstantiated rumors and conjuring. Show me where Wawrow has made mistakes like that before and I'll hear you out.

I think he has leverage to tweet it the way he did because of the fan sentiment right now. Wawrow has always been a good journalist and I trust his judgement. Who knows, someone high up in the front office could have even given him the green light to tweet it that way.

It does, if I was Pat I wouldn't pay the extra cash to use the logos because he's really just getting started on the FanDuel deal and the show has been a massive success, I would prioritize his business and continuing to invest in the growth and people who have helped build it with him, which he seems to be doing. Plus it would be fun to refer to them as the Professional American Football League as poking fun at them.

All this is is the NFL saying "Hey you make a lot of money talking about our product and we want more $ from you." Sucks and I do think Pat has helped younger audiences be more NFL fans, I think he has the best show that covers the NFL today. But NFL owners only care about one thing and it's why they're all billionaires... cash.

That's what my roommate reminded me of last night, but you can't expect Beane to be perfect 100% of the time. That being said, he's drafted well IMO. But this is a deal that could probably happen pretty cheap, he's not even starting for the Bears and they seem to really like Montgomery. I'd be fine with a 5th rounder for him, maybe a 4th. Will be interesting to see if Beane does anything, the deadline is a week from today.

I wouldn't mind Khalil Herbert. He's productive, he offers a change of pace with a bigger frame and more of a bulldozer, which is what we lack the most in the run game. And he's cheap. We could probably get him for a 4th or 5th rounder.

I think he's the best WR in the league, can play any role. Sure fire hands.

I think the key will be no trap games. We got really screwed on that Jags loss last year and in the back of my mind I keep wondering which team could do that to us again. Divisional opponents could, Patriots are getting on a roll having won 2 in a row, Jets have won 3 in a row, . Vikings are 5-1. I think we've faced our toughest opponent already in KC, but I don't like that short week against the Lions. The Bengals game could be big, but at the same token it does seem like our Bills are way more dialed in this year.
