People are on edge getting attacked often on the subway and other places. These are the consequences. Do you stand there getting attacked by someone having a crisis and accept death or serious injury? I mean 40 arrests how was this guy still on the street? At a certain point he should be give a long sentence as it's clear he can't function in society.

how do you know he was having a mental health crisis? it's just a narrative right now that i've seen no basis in fact. as of right now it's a guy arrested 40 times for things including assault along with having a warrant out for an assault. what if he was just an #######?
