    If it's paid through the campaign it's not illegal. What Trump did was pay it out of his own pocket outside the campaign which is illegal. Kinda like how people in the Capitol have paid out 43 mil in sexual harrassment/assault cases over the last decade through their campaign money and none of them have come to light.
