to beat brady the front four have to get to him with the secondary giving them time for coverage sacks. he can just get that ball out so quick. if we can take away those short throws or at least keep them to short gains that's the ticket.

what we don't want to be is the bears. they actually had a nice defense last year but their offense was non existent. trubisky threw for 2100 yards...dear god. we need benjamin to be the 1000 yard guy he can be, clay be the 7-800 yard guy, and zay to be decent as the second guy. but we obviously need the qb to be able to get them the ball.

typically qbs dont come into 9-7 teams. i would say also that if a qb gets picked at the top of the draft it's a new coaching staff and gm as if you're picking that high the previous guys are all out. We happen to have all that in place.

it depends if we have allen play like wentz did or if mccarron can play as well as keenum did. If either of those situations occurs we will be ok this year

if ivory is a nice backup our run game could look better. subtracting tolbert might be the biggest addition lol.

they always have a nice d and a decent offense but that offense has fallen off the past few years.

i dont think it's been talked about too much but he was on wgr a while back i think pre draft but i dont think since then. it's a pretty neat story and i think shows well

he doesn't really take a beating as he's not a high contact guy. that's why he's generally avoided injury. It's not that big of a stretch to see him keep playing well.

we just have no idea what this offense is gonna do. But we had the 29th offense by yards and 22nd by points last year and still managed 9 wins. Our pass offense was so poor that's where we can make the most difference this year and hopefully with that threat our run offense can maintain or even get better. Our run defense was so poor last year that's where our defense can see the biggest improvement. No more jets running for 200 yards and New orleans for 300 or whatever.

well if he can put up 3 more years with good production kind of like emmitt did late in his career he could get there. But he's gotta get a run in the playoffs to get there.

The offense wasn't coached well last year and thus rick got fired. Shows me they are willing to make tough calls. The defense was coached well but didn't have the horses to get it done. Now in year two they do so i will like to see the defense take a big step. The offense lost some horses though pretty unexpectedly so we need to if the guys they brought in can be coached up and play well. Bob Babich is coaching Tremaine Edmunds and Urlacher credits babich with much of his success. Edmunds has the staff behind him that could push him into greatness. Edmunds could be in for a big career.
