they're football teams. they don't sell like normal companies. even jerry jones said the cowboy weren't for sale but that he hypothetically might take 10 billion for the team. these guys are selling their teams for crazy amounts so in fact...that is how it works.

But I don't see this as too far out of left field. The panthers operating income estimate was around 75 mil last year and they sold for 2.4 bil. The colts is estimated at just over 100 mil per year so if the teams sold off the same operating income percentage the colts would be around 3.2 bil or so.
that is the risk for sure. but they are also getting an extra first in case they need to move up for a qb. i'm starting to think i don't like miami doing this as it helps them
qbs are harder and they are loading up like we did. we found our in the second round, panthers just found theirs in the second. if they can get the top pick and have a mid 20s or so pick they can find both.
