    Why would he? He needs to get his numbers up this season and play for a deal in the off season. He had no more guaranteed money in his deal. His best move is to to a winner not a team desperate for a guy.

    I'm not saying it will work but that's one of the moves. At this point it would seem he wants nothing to do with a trial so it's just getting the shortest sentence possible.

    You claim there are flaws with the test. Chain of custody etc. Problem with warrant etc.

    If he's vaxxed he would just have to test negative twice in a just over 24 hour period. So he could test negative.

    lots of people commit crimes that are never caught. Doesn’t mean that you give lesser sentences to the people who get caught.

    It's probably pretty tough for him to get off. Warrant for his blood level, they haven't said anyone else was in his car etc. Unless they screw up chain of evidence with the blood or something he's looking at some serious time.
