Here's the issue with just outright releasing him right now. If he turns out to be innocent it hurts accusers in the future. It gives the idiots who victim blame more ammo to be degenerates. Then the next time something like this happens they go remember that punter who got cut he was innocent.blah blah blah. Just keep him inactive until this is settled by the DA and civil courts.

Very true though I believe it's gotten quite a bit better with training. Most of the time these things tend to be he said she said which when you're inncoent until proven guilty it doesn't work out for the victim.

His agent likely would have known his name was in an accusation pre draft. Would have provided the evidence they have of his innocence. If the bills were surprised by this he’d have been cut immediately.

Now you’re making an assumption he just has sex with any girl no matter age like a predator. It can be reasonably assumed if you’re at a college party you’re a student at that school. Sort of like if you take a girl home from a bar you’re assuming she’s 21.

Yea that part is a tough one. If she told people at the party she was a freshman he has an excuse but she says she told people she was in high school.

His attorney feels pretty confident about his witnesses and there are witnesses at the party. If she was drunk and also given a drug her memory could be very spotty unfortunately. That’s the problem in general with these types of cases. Often times they can be he said she said which doesn’t bode well if there was a rape and no physical proof. Matt could have had sex consensually and she could have been rapes in the room. on the exempt list until it’s sorted out and cut if he is charged.

The school campus knew about it. So you think coaches would know and pass along inside info. If his name was in the original criminal complaint you’d think the agent would pass along. Team would not like to be blindsided

If she stumbled out of a bedroom bloodied into her friend you’d have to think there would be a whole lot of witnesses as to who came out of that bedroom after. Really surprised there has not been an arrest.
