  1. Josh‘s hero-ball tendencies are not Dorsey’s fault. There were plenty of options open underneath all day but Josh’s desire to make the big play overrides proper decision making. His avg depth per throw was 16 Sunday - highest of any QB all year (NFL avg is 8). If you think that’s Dorsey drawing up 39 deep shots you're crazy. Dorsey might not be perfect but we had 300 and 20 pts in the first half. Add in two enormous drops and we’re looking at 500 and 40 for the game. Love Josh but he’s a Ferrari without breaks and Dorsey has to manage that.
  2. This thread just broke the record for most platitudes per post. Congrats guys!
  3. I’d say go back and watch the KC game. He completely dominated and his final pressure resulted in the Mahomes INT. That’s exactly what we need right now. His play positively effected the whole DL too.
  4. Where’s the clown emoji?
  5. He’s caught 48 of 93 targets. That’s 51% and unacceptable for a WR2. The league average is 64% this year. I realize all of them aren’t his fault but he’s by far the lowest on the team and one of the worst starters in the league for catch rate. Mckenzie is at 64%
  6. Yeah because you want your #2 WR being a really good blocker but only catching 50% of his targets when you’re a passing team.
  7. The best thing he does is block. As of right now, he looks like he’s lost all confidence doing anything else. He’s had his chance. Play Brown and Shakir
  8. Clearly I’m being trolled. Are you saying kickers are as important as DBs? DB’s are some of the greatest players in NFL history - Morton Anderson or Deon LOL. You cherry pick one thing I said and conveniently leave out the other points like leadership, team MVP, plays per game. How about salary? Do kickers get drafted high - why? How many kickers are actually drafted per year? you and @whorlnut are either former kickers, have children that are kickers or are soccer players 😂
  9. Dude honestly you sound like a psycho. I have no clue why I’m responding to your completely absurd post other than to say, you’ve outed yourself as a former kicker. I have a good friend who’s a former Kicker at a big time D1 school and made an NFL roster for a few games. I know he takes his craft very seriously and works hard. But he’d laugh at you trying to say that street DE’s are as plentiful as street Kickers. And Boogie sucking is exactly the proof regarding Beane’s underwhelming draft record on the most important positions. So you literally just proved my point.
  10. Dude your big point is that our very good kicker was the “ Special teams player of the month” and you’re calling me a troll? Again, you can pull a kicker off the streets and he can do 80% of what bass does. Happens all the time. Trying to think of the last Kicker who was an MVP? Or was his team’s MVP? Are Kickers team leaders? How many plays are they on the field for? Do you even football? I’m not calling Kickers inconsequential but good god, there won’t be too many GMs with the kickers they drafted on their resume. Jesus
  11. Listen Mr Bass, your son is a very good kicker. But if AJ, Boogie, Oliver or Ford play to their draft slot no one cares about the kicker. That’s why there are about 2 or 3 drafted every year. If Bass went down, we could bring in a kicker who’s pretty good off the streets. Ya can’t do that with any other position other than punter.
  12. When making the case for a GM, listing a 5th round kicker first is laughable regardless of how good he is. Championship teams aren’t built around kickers. They’re built on both lines and at QB. I love Beane because I think he a huge part of the amazing culture and he drafted Josh. But he’s missed badly on the DL and OL - that’s not even debatable.
  13. Ha Did you really just list a kicker? Knox is an average starter. Who knows what the hell Davis is at this point. You mention Oliver, Singletary and Edmunds and say, “ well at they ain’t busts!” like that’s a badge of honor. I would say, it’s not like any of them are impact starters although i’m more bullish Edmunds than most. The truth is if McBeane hit on more high draft picks we’d be a much better team and not so reliant on a generational talent at QB. As we’re constructed right now, Josh has to routinely put this team on his back.
  14. What concepts don’t you like? If that’s the case, don’t you think the the lack of a true slot WR has had an effect on these concepts and game plans? Can’t make Shakir something he’s not right now. We know McKenzie is not a true slot. Also, Beasley was really great
  15. There is no Beasley in this offense. If Crowder doesn’t get hurt, I think the offense looks more in sync.
  16. Jaelen Carter. A true playmaking 3 tech would put this defense over the top.
  17. He makes me realize just how amazing Van was.
  18. You’re only looking at this season. The last 3 years have ended disastrously by blowing a 16 point lead, being totally unprepared for KC in the AFCG and 13 seconds. The past 3 seasons we routinely take big leads and then let teams back in games that they have no business being in. At some point as a HC, you have to know your personnel and specifically your QBs penchant for hero ball. For some reason McD hasn’t learned that or just believes his team “can figure it out”. This isn’t some recent phenomena, this is McD’s M.O.
  19. How is this Dorsey’s fault if there were multiple options open? And Davis was open if Josh doesn’t double pump and makes the throw on time. So Peterson can watch all the film he wants, he was still beat.
  20. I’d imagine there are some minor issues with all the attention Josh is getting despite him being incredibly humble. He’s showing up on TV more and more and the National Press loves him. However he hasn’t been doing his part so I think it’s natural and minor at worst. I could see players starting to wonder about McD though. Not revolting or anything but they’re talking about his signature losses and mismanagement at the end of games. Other than that, I just can’t see this team being anywhere close to the bickering Bills 2.0.
  21. I’ve never been a fan of Edmunds but the Bills rarely blitz him so he’s not gonna rack up those stats. His length and speed in the passsing game makes windows smaller and very hard to attack the middle of the field. He also is closing on WRs much faster this year. They use Taron basically as a SAM and bring him off the edge a few times a game and usually, he comes free. Oliver flashed at times today but again, not enough. He just doesn’t play like a small 3 tech. He’s all bully, no twitch. Like i said, he’ll get paid though.
  22. Why the binary? Fire McD or hire two bad coaches. Coaches would be tripping over themselves to coach this team. Also, Beane tends to make great decisions.
  23. You probably forgot that we did go to the AFCCG but we didn’t show up. But it’s not the head coach despite KC brining the same edge pressure over and over again and our HC, a former DC not being able to adjust or call it out.
  24. It took an other worldly performance by Jefferson. Maybe the best by a WR I’ve ever seen. You weren’t gonna stop him and the covereage wan’t bad at all. All Lewis had to do is knock it down instead of going for the pick but when you’re down to your 5th Saftey, mistakes will happen. That’s why you need a HC to make good decisions.
