I’m proud of you Uncle Rico. I’ll head right down to the nearest MMA gym and announce that some guy on the internet told me that I need to fight everyone there! I played my entire college career with a torn labrum. I understand pushing through injury. That doesn’t mean there weren’t times where I was in extreme pain and it affected my play. I couldn’t jog without it feeling like it was gonna dislocate. My point was that it’s clearly gonna be something that affects his play moving forward and was the reason why MULTILPE REPORTERS MENTIONED IT.

Ha taking martial arts classes is exactly the same as playing offensive line in the NFL. I’ve had multiple surgeries that were sports related to my knee and shoulder. They never heal perfectly. Every single one of my former teammates and friends who’ve had surgeries have had lingering issues post surgery that last a long time. Not sure who you’re talking to but anyone who’s had labrum surgery or an ACL/MCL surgery are never the same. Back is no different. That doesn’t mean you can’t work through it. That doesn’t mean can’t treat it. But to act like multiple reports about Brown having this issue is unrelated to his ongoing back problems is ridiculous. But die in that hill. I hope I’m very wrong.

Look at the facts. He’s been hampered by back injuries for a while and had back surgery in the off-season. The Taller and heavier you are the more back injuries linger. It wasn’t just one reporter, Locked on, Sal and a few others who tweeted that he looked to be in significant pain.

I don’t know how you can say “obviously it was nothing serious”. He knows this is his last shot and if he tweaked it that bad, and by all reports it looked bad, he’s definitely playing through pain and it’s an ongoing issue, especially if it’s his back. That’s a fact.

It’s not just about his inability to run through contact, It’s the fact that he’s unwilling to be physical. It starts with pass pro and that’s why he was on the field for 18 snaps of pass pro last year. Opposing defenses know this trend and can adjust. It doesn’t sound like he’s been effective in PP early in in camp either. He’s never been physical. He’s always been a lightly used niche back. That’s how he should be used

So now that we’ve adjusted for reality, that leaves exactly one of his OL picks who cracked the 2 deep last year. 1 in 4 drafts and he’s one of the worst in The league the last two years. lmao

So wait a second. You think Singletary or Cook are capable of the load those 3 RBs can handle? Holy sh!t That is laughable. Cook and Singletary aren’t on the same planet as Cook, Henry and Barkley. Our RBs have benefited greatly from light boxes which Henry and Barkley never see. Your points about Allen being too involved are less about designed runs and more about Josh’s ridiculous abaility as probably the best Dual threat in the history of the NFL. Again, do you want to take the ball out of his hands and give it to 2 average RBs? Cook is incapable of being a true #1 - not even in high school was he that guy and we all know Singletary’s short comings and so does the rest of the NFL because they never respected him enough to put a safety down in the box to stop him and he got pennies in FA. You’re basically just saying we should’ve run the ball despite the obvious personnel issues and despite the successful results of doing it the other way which makes no sense. You point to a DL running game ONCE YOU SUBTRACT the production of one of the best offesive weapons in the NFL and seem to ignore the fact that we were #2 yards, scoring and YPP. Makes no sense. Talking about trying to build a narrative. This year I think the offense will look different for two reasons. 1 is to extend Josh‘s career and 2 because we have added a ton of skill and OL talent.

Never said he doesn’t deserve any. Every single offensive player and coach on the team played a part. There wasn’t much of a difference in RB utilization from the previous 3 years and we were 7th in the league in rushing. Our RBs were below average last year. One has no speed and the other is afraid of contact and isn’t good in pass pro (hopefully that changes though I have my doubts). Why would you want to put the ball in your worst offensive players hands and take it out of Josh’s? Do we have the offensive line to sustain the run game without the constant threat of the pass? Not last year. Do we have the running backs to pound the ball? Not last year. I think that’ll change this year because we more versatility on offense and a true all around RB like Harris (if he stays healthy) a better OL and a true deep ball threat in Harty who will keep those safeties in cover 2 far away from the LOS. Again, blaming Dorsey for last year is overlooking the obvious. #2 offense in yards scoring and YPP - by any objective measure that is a success. If he struggles to diversify the O this year and don’t perform in big spots then move on because there will be no excuse.

Could be but unless you reviewed the all 22 film for every game and actually understand modern offensive football it’s purely conjecture. What’s not is any of the points that I brought up including the #2 offense in football.

The simple answer is that fans need someone to blame. It’s not Dorsey’s fault that: -Beane thinks the offensive line isn’t worth investing and developing through the draft. -Beane thought McKenzie or Crowder could replace Beasley -Beane Can’t draft RB’s -Josh refuses to play within the offense (which is good and sometimes really bad) -Josh’s injury hampered the WR screen/quick game -Davis caught 50% of his targets Despite all of that the Bills ranked #2 in yards and points. We’ll see what Dorsey is made of this year because we’ve upgraded everywhere. Last year had very little to do with Dorsey. It’s the NFL, you can’t just scheme players open every play.

Luckily we have the leadership to absorb this. I like his edge and I thought he should’ve been pissed at the end of the season but starting the season like this is pure immaturity

This is just who Diggs is. If things don’t go his way in the regular season he’ll behave like a baby again. We saw his best but usually people revert back to who they are.

Cook has never been the guy. Not in high school. Not in college. Certainly not in the nfl the way he shies away from contact and is bad in pass pro. Harris is the best all around back on this team and it ain’t close. Now he’s just gotta stay healthy

Nice breakdown. I watch a ton of ACC (sad I know) and I honestly didn’t know how short Downs was because he plays way bigger than his size. He’s a gamerand plays with fire. The only thing I’d say about him compared to Zay is that Downs has played with 2 very good QBs and a solid running game in a wide open offense. Zay not so much. But give me Downs over anyone not names JSN at WR.

I like Downs better than Zay and Addison. Runs routes like Stevie Johnson and has excellent hands. BSF than Beasley too

All that except production. Sanders played in the toughest division in the best conference against some of the best offensive minds (Kiffen, Pirate, BOB) in football and filled up the stat sheet in his first year as a MLB. Campbell played in a division that plays the worst offensive football in the P5. Teams like Wisky, NW, Minn and Nebraska all play schemes that you simply won’t see in the NFL and are antiquated. Hell, Iowa is the very worst offense in college football and that’s what he practices against. Predictable personnel groupings, very little spread, terrible WRs and RBs who aren’t used in the passing game outside of dump offs. There’s very little difference in their RAS outside of their broad jump which doesn’t mean much at MLB anymore. If Beane picks Campbell it means he’s learned nothing from his past failed drafts.

I like Breese a lot but his injury history is not great. His movement skills and hands are awesome though.
