All of us sideline coaches have such a small view into the day to day performance we are kidding ourselves when we criticize a lot of these moves. If Stupar, Bryan, and Bowen or anyone else who is cut are so gifted they will be picked up by another team. I did not see that happen did anyone else? Teams scout the waiver wire closely. If they are good developmental candidates the Bills and other teams will place them on PS and they will get time to prove they belong.

The Pats made this move because they fear the Bills overpowering attacking defense.

Doesnt this leave a spot open to replace Lynch for the first three games? Stupar, Bryan Bowen, and Harris all get practice squad.

This years draft is looking to be the strongest I have ever seen: 1. Maybin -- 1st yr starter, 2nd yr at the worst 1. Wood -- 1st yr starter 2. Levitre -- 1st yr starter 2. Byrd -- will start by yr , lots of playing time this year 4. Harris -- will start by yr 2, maybe in yr 1. I think he is the steal of the draft. 5. Nelson -- will start by yr 2 6. Harris -- practice squad 7. Lankster -- makes team, solid player. Either its a great draft or this team had a lot of holes.

I think he is 5 feet 4 inches tall. But he will throw the ball downfield!

I agree one of these three get the axe. My guess is Kelsay. They move Maybin over and he will start pretty soon.

After on the preseason debacles Trent said he played the way he was coached. I believe that he was referring to the check downs and not throwing the ball downfield. I think he stated it twice that he was supposed to play per the coach's plan. Maybe AVP will allow TE to toss it downfield even if Lee & TO are covered and let them go get it. Obviously he did not (could not?) do that with Turk there. I wonder if TE's comment after that game got DJ thinking that he may have an OC problem.

Unfortunately, if this is true, all the skeptics (like me) that said this teams sucks are probably correct. The idea that we were doing a rope a dope to launch an offensive juggernaut against NE is probably not true. Did the Turk visit the Turk today? What happened to stand by your man Dick?

Didn't we have a RB a few years back that led the league in rushing in the preseason and never made the team? I agree on Harris and on Corner. Ellison will never be more than he is right now while Harris can improve a ton and is already equal to Ellison. Corner has done nothing but consistently make plays. Florence is hurt, I'd rather have a guy that takes the field. I don't know how Schoumann / Stupar compare in pracctice so I cannot readily agree on this one.

Advice to Bills Fans: Set your expectations very low for this team...when they fail to meet them you will not have far to fall. If they meet your low expectations.....no problem it is all you expected. If they beat your low expectations ......well that ain't gonna happen with this team!

Bills 3 Pats 38 It will be over by the end of the first quarter. This team is a complete mess and has no direction or leadership.

We should pick up Tavaris and immediately trade him to Green Bay. Then wait for Aaron Rodgers to get hurt and watch Favre go against Jackson.

The Skins are thinking if you sign a contract you live up to it. Maybe the NFL teams should deal with their overpaid & overrated and over inflated ego players the same way they deal with granny here. Didn't Peters have two years left on his contract? The Bills should have sued Jason Peters for underperforming after sitting out and not playing or acting professionally for last season. A few teams start to do that and this nonsense stops. Hell, that would mean equal justice for all including granny.

If Omon doesn't block well on blitzes tonight he will be cut and mcintyre will stay. If Omon does block well he will hold off mcintyre until Lynch returns.

Great news.... But if the line is so good why does TE suck so bad? I have always believed that a poor or mediocre QB can thrive behind a good line but a great QB cannot succeed behind a bad line. If the line is even adequate at this point TE should be throwing the ball all over the place. That is not happening. Also what's the explanation why the running game have only one good rush?

Weren't the Seahawks missing like 5 starters on their o-line. Hardly like playing the pats this year.

You have to look at the leaders on this team. Wait a second, there are no leaders. I cannot think of one anyway. TE - no. Marshawn - no. Lee - no, TO - nope. Offensive line - nobody. Defense -- Schobel - no, Stroud - no, Poz - not yet, Mitchell - no. McGee - nope. Whitner - he tries I think. DJ & the Coaches - naw. The lack of leadership is this teams biggest problem.

I have been a fan since the beginning. Unfortunately DJ is not our worst coach. Kay, Hank, Jim Ringo and a couple of other dildos earn the worst coach honor. Ringo was a great player (HOF) but a lousy coach. However without question Harvey Johnson was the absolute worst and he got the job twice! DJ is probably about the 5th worst coach. By comparison the Steelers only had 6 coaches over the same period of time.

Evans is the most overrated player in the league. I'd take Justin Jenkins over him.

The Bills are not near mediocre. Just for grins if we duplicate our 0-6 division record from last year (which is better than 50/50 odds) that leaves us with ten games. Of those Cleveland at home and Jax and KC on the road are our only favorable match-ups. Let's say we get lucky and win 2 out of those three. All the other remaining seven teams are much better than us (Indy, TB, NO, Carolina, Houston, Tenn, Atl) But you know Jax, Clev & KC are all looking at the Bills game as a game they should / will win. 0-16 is a better possibility than 6-10. IMO, the Jets and Fins play with a lot more heart than this team. If the Packer game and the Steeler game is an indication of how we play against an elite team, the Bills should simply forfeit the Pats games to avoid the embarrassment.
