To anyone who wanted the Bills to draft Mario Manningham....
Conch replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If we had picked these guys with our coaching staff your script would read like this;;;Mannigham blows, I hated the pick when it was made and even more now...then again I hated the Ngota, Mangold and Oher picks as well Whitner, Byrd & McCargo and Maybin would look pretty good on this team wouldnt they? easy to say now but a lot of us mentioned these names before the picks were made as well It doesn't matter, this staff would have ruined Montana and Rice. -
where are all of the guys that were predicting 10+ win season? Calling Lee & TO the best WR tandem in the league? Saying that Freddy & Marshan are the best combo RBs in the league? The bills have best Special Teams in the league? Well, where ever they are they all should keep their mouths shut because they don't have a clue about anything. They are as dumb as the Bills Front Office. We'll be lucky to win 5 and that is being optimistic. We will have a top 5 pick next year and that is all we have to look forward to. Further it is time to start calling Poz a bust, he can't stay on the field. Corner, Youbouty and Florence are all better corners than McKelvin. Time to throw that bust label on him. What a sad freaking team.

If we lose to Cleveland when does Jauron get fired?

i think he gets the bullet today. why wait? -
agreed/ Kawaki has the Lee Evans disease. "I got my money, I am done trying".

Not true, a lack of preparedness is killing the Bills. Most injuries are a by product of defeat when you are beaten. Most injuries happen when you are not prepared, out of position, or overcompensating for others. A few injuries are just bad luck. Winners make their own luck. The Bills are not prepared to win. Damn coach thinks a good loss is positive. Don't blame injuries, it is coaching that is killing us.

this IS whats wrong with the offense
Conch replied to bbillyfootballcoach's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What makes him a great back-up? A great back up is a good first stringer. TE is not that. -
I don't think you are right at all. Look how Pierre Thomas smoked us in the second half. Lynch will do the same, he will come out running hard and will get a lot of touches. Lynch is very talented. Freddie is good but he is not as good as Lynch.
-
I hope he is in the two receiver set. Send Lee a message, produce or sit.

IMO if the entire return team is playing up for an onsides kick and you get the ball three yards deep in the EZ, the chance that you will break it big are slim to none. Take a freaking knee or at least run toward the out of bounds with the ball in the outside arm. The error was coaching. Add to that a lack of football smarts on the part of the player. He wanted to be a big hero and turned out to be a big goat. That said, we would have gone three and out and Brady would have marched it down our throats to win at the last second. Who are we kidding, this coaching staff does not know how to win a close game.

should we get a new qb in the offseason?
Conch replied to ishouldbegm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Philly is not going to give up Kolb, McNabb is too old. Campbell, Jackson, Thigpen, Croyle, Anderson, Quinn, Young == Edwards Rookies not the answer -
Since the Bills have the look of a 6-10 team ...

Wade Phillips, he likes coaching a team without T.O. on it. No way TO signs for next year no matter how much scratch the bills toss his way. -
Just got home from the game...this is how N.O. Stopped us.

The truth is this: Evans/Owens is a top-3 WR tandem. Evans can out run anyone on the field and Owens is bigger and stronger than any DB that matches up on him. This is not true at all. They are bottom-3 WR tandem. Why do I say that? Look at their stats, so far they suck. Lee hasn't had a good game in a year. TO has more drops than catches. How can you say he is a top WR if he cannot catch? There is no excuse for these guy to not have at least 5 catches and 60 yards each, every game. This is true. The problem is the QB, the o-line, rbs not picking up the blitz, the offensive coordinator, the head coach, the GM, the owner, our fans griping, the media, the other teams defensive scheme, the other teams dbs and safeties, the refs, the crowd, the wind, the sun, the rain, the snow, or the field. Everybody is at fault but Lee and TO. -
Were Lee and T.O. getting open?
Conch replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Put in Patrick Fitzryan or Ryan Fitzpatrick and see if he has the same trouble. As soon as you do you know who to blame -- the 0 line or QB or WRs. We'd all know in one week, probably before halftime, and we could end all this grousing. In preseason RP consistently went downfield with his throws, TE did not and still hasn't. TE has only made two good throws downfield in three games, one TD to Lee and one drop by TO. -
No kidding what a joke, they never adjust. You can't fix stupid.
-
They are who that we thought they were.
-
Sorry, look at Lee's last 16 games. He's produced nothing since signing his fat contract. Time for him to show some heart.
-
Kelsay and Denney were both very good today. Maybin was nowhere. I'd sit him a few and let Ellis get some time.
-
Replace Lee Evans with Steve Johnson. Trade Lee while you can still get something for him. He is the most overrated player in the league. Just drop Roscoe, he plays like he doesn't want to be here. I bet nobody is upping their bid for him. Play Nic Harris, when we went tot he 4-2-5 I would have played Harris instead of Whitner at RLB, Whitner was run over. Play Chris Ellis, he has to be better than Maybin. Why is Maybin even dressing? He does nothing but take himself out of every play. He should try running toward the QB; not trying to distract the QB by running 20 yards upfield. Who is teaching this guy? Try throwing the ball downfield to Jackson. When Thurman was at his best he would go deep now and then. We know we can't throw deep to wideout or tight end maybe we could complete a deep throw to a running back??? Ryan Fitzpatrick is better than TE make the change. AVP has to have another route for TO other than go deep.

Couple of weeks of film on the AVP offense

Everyone was on their knees in front of TE after the Bucs game. I thought he was marginal in that game. When the pressure is on he folds. He needs to grow a pair. -
DJ has no clue on how to win games. He also has to win the fans by showing his passion to win through his game management. He told the team and everyone in the stadium that he thought close is good enough. What a pathetic call.

PR was a star and will always live on in Bills lore as one of the best names. Until, of course, along came Youbouty.
-
Meredith sounds like a young version of Butler. I like that. If Scott is adequate, Butler comes back next year, Bell continues to improve, Meredith turns the corner and challenges next year, Wood, Levitre and Hangartner continue to produce, the Bills will have a young, talented deep o-line next year. This is a good move. Some teams draft boards had Meredith as the best G available in the draft. But he has been moved to tackle so he should fit in on this team where no one plays a position they were used to. It is not always about spending the most money as opposed to acquiring young talent.

which current bill(s) would start on early 90's team?
Conch replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kelly would kick Evans off the team.
