  1. If the Bill shave had only one good decade ..and you can simply write off the successes of this team in 60's then by your reasoning... the Jets have had zero good decades and the Patriots have had one, the 2000's. The Fins have had two with marginally better years than we had in between. Facts are the 80's weren't so bad when Knox stepped in. The Bills of the 90's were one of the most dominant teams ever. Few franchises have had that wit the Steelers, 'boys, Packers, Raiders, Dolphins, Broncos, Chiefs (60's) quickly come to mind. The Colts have had great teams with Manning and Johnny U but hardly dominating over a decade. Many teams hope to have a good year or two, let alone a decade just ask the Browns, Lions, Houston, etc....
  2. We can't cover ten points? Heck we can't score more than three points on Cleveland at home two years in a row. We do better on the road but, I think we will hang in there until the third period and then blow the heck up. buf 9 jets 27. If TE gets hurt or if the coach gets the balls to throw fitz in 27 - 16 jets win.
  3. No chance he is here next year. Ralph would have to be senile to let that happen.
  4. He can offer words of encouragement? I'd rather he takes someone's head off. Seriously tho he is a good pickup. Played for STL last year and many thought he was their best LB and were surprised when he was released.
  5. You think they could help this team this year? The bionic man wouldn't help.
  6. You have a GREAT WR combo...this is a fallacy. We have one potential great receiver in TO who has a lot of heart. We have one guy that quit a year ago by the name of Lee.
  7. I'd love to see Trent look down the field, decide nothing is open enough for him to throw at, look at his check down receiver, pump fake to the check down guy and then throw deep. All the DBs immediately leave their receiver when they see Trent start to check down. The WRs will all be wide open. Even this wimp could hit them then. Do this a few times and the D will be laying off the check down guy and that play will start working again as well. But then I won't see it, cause I am giving up on this team this year, they gave up already. More exciting reading a book on Sunday or something.
  8. uh, I think this team qualifies as desperate. Our starting OLB this week is our version of Invincible. Our MLB is skinny. Our other OLB is ??? Our QB is lost, our Oline is maligned, our passing attack is passing gas, there is no attack. I'd say we are desperate. We have had two offensive touchdowns in our last 6 home games. Two TD's in 24 quarters. At Home. And we will keep our coach for continuity. And we won't change our QB because we don't want to hurt his feelings. And Ralph won't come out at halftime because he does not want to show his face.
  9. Dude, unfortunately what he says is the plan.
  10. I agree with everything that you say except the last comment "we don't deserve the playoffs". Heck, we don't deserve being called an NFL team. This team is just a disgrace.
  11. You think this team is capable of scoring a TD? Last two home games no TDs by the offense in eight quarters. Going back to last year, what do we have a couple TDs by the offense at home in the last 7 games or so? Prepare to be shut out next week in NY.
  12. Who cares about bad calls? The play of this team was beyond putrid, the play of both teams was horrible. It was worse than a bad pre-season game. It would have been as big an embarrassment to win this game as it was to lose it.
  13. We will be okay against the Jets next week in NY. The offense will step up with a no huddle, ball control scheme to keep our depleted defense off the field. Corto, Harris and Palmer will step up and play like vets. Ellison in the middle will handle the big guards without too much difficulty. And our special teams will step up as they are the best in the league and will win the game for us. ...uh hang I need to get a match, on my joint just went out.....
  14. this is bull. he looks, he hesitates, he checks down. He has time to throw, he doesn't which further compounds everything because the d knows what hew will do. Look but don't throw. Every pass he throws over ten yards is a long sideline pass either way overthrown or under thrown and an INT. Trent is a big issue.
  15. What would it have really mattered if we won this joke of a football game. The two teams are a joke, their QBs and head coaches are jokes. Neither team should be playing in the NFL. The rookie mistakes by veterans are a joke. TE throws a 3 yard pass to Lee Evans with 23 seconds left and 30 yards to go for a FG? How utterly stupid are these players? Many on this board touted our receivers as the best in the league prior to the season. Let me clue you in, they suck.... Parrish and Evans especially suck. I'd cut Parrish tomorrow, then I'd bench Lee Evans and start Steve Johnson. What the eff does it take to light some fire in these guys? If Evans doesn't pick it up after the benching I'd cut his oversized contract. Bobby April must want to puke Parrish and McKelvin cost us three games on ST alone.
  16. The Bills beat nobody last year. The Broncs are beating good teams.
  17. Actually Ralph has fired Dick J five times. The problem is he never remembers it then he has hires him six more times. Old timers disease really sucks.
  18. What could he possibly be upset at?
  19. Guys; Edwards sucks like no one i have ever seen, but Cutler would be no better in this offense.
  20. Things always look dark before they go completely black.
  21. The lack of a downfield challenge opens the door for heavier rushes. A very good way to negate the rush is to start hitting intermediate routes. But that won't happen because he won't get rid of the ball.
  22. I would take mcnabb in a heartbeat over our qb. quit ragging on someone that is hurt.
  23. what's the friggin difference? Lee showed up, sucks big time and gets paid. Peters didn't show up, sucked, gets traded and gets paid.
