um, didn't we just string two together before this debacle?
We are not as good as these stats show.
Stats are for losers, we better start looking closely at them.
Edwards, Evans and TO....eh wait that was what most everyone on this board was proclaiming before the seasons started....
no one on the bills deserves a pro bowl this year
Texans 34
Bills 9
We keep in close until Jauron packs it in at the end of the first half demoralizing the entire team and stadium. Ralph says "No reason to change coaching until after next season, he has them playing a solid 28 minutes a game".
to me fierce competition means two or more capable qbs. we will have two mediocre qbs and a rookie. competition will not be fierce at all.
rb situation will be the same as this year. again nothing fierce about it.
The fact of the mater is neither are a good option, Ryan is just the greater of two lesser players. There are probably a dozen or more second string QBs better than both of these guys as well as a few third stringers.
Losing to the Browns at home while allowing 23 passing yards shows we are pathetic.
Beating the Jets on the road while allowing 318 rushing yards shows that the Jets are also pathetic. Neither game means we are deserving of a better record.
2 offensive touchdowns at home in the last 6 games is not good enough.
There are four ways a team shows up week to week.
The Bills need more performances in the "Play well" category. Y'all might like a better record from bad football team, not me. I am sick of bad football win or lose.
To play bad and lose (vs. Browns, Saints, Dolphins)
To play bad and win (vs. Jets)
To play well and lose (vs. Pats)
To play well and win. (vs. Bucs).
Yeah, like Jauron will inspire this team into thinking it cal win ten games. just like he inspired them in the NO game by not going for a 4th and 1 two score down and 7 minutes to go. Real inspirational guy.
what he said. actually there are about 10 teams as squirreled up as the pitiful bills. the panthers are one of them along with stl, kc, nyj, car, tenn, oak, buf, det
may the worst team suck more than the bad team.
318 rushing yards -- I'd think DT would be a logical choice. Stroud is getting long in the tooth. Williams is a good second team player. McCargo is a waste.
We have 6 young O linemen with "potential"
there was report that talked about his second concussion of his career and that he had one TD and 5 INts in three games. The update that you received was a discombobulation of that report.
Fine was pushing not punching. I think the Jets player was just swinging in reaction to the pushing and his swing happened to land on Fine;s faec as a punch, more by by accident than intent.
Aaron of Mayb-erry should try to run toward the QB. I swear whenever I see him rush the passer he starts outside, stays outside and runs by the Tackle and the QB by five to ten yards. Then he turns around and runs back toward the play but it is usually over.
Fitz on his best day is a mediocre NFL QB. I'd say that TE is a better passer. TE is not an NFL QB yet. A mediocre Fitz is a better QB than TE. TE needs time to learn the position, learning it on the fly has not worked. Some people say there is no substitute for experience, that is not universally true. I think TE needed a couple of years under the clipboard just like Aaron Rodgers. Play FItz for the rest of the year, TE will get himself killed out there and ruin the team.
I agree with the previous comment, we would not have won that game if TE stayed healthy. Don't confuse statistics for production. The difference between Fitz and TE is that Fitz actually threw the ball past the line of scrimmage. He also has better awareness / knowledge on when to get rid of it. TE could have been 15 for 15 and he would have had less than 100 yards, and just the three points.
It is very easy to find out where the problem is right now. Stick in Ryan Fitzpatrick. You will know in a quarter or two. He is used to throwing downfield. If he can't / doesn't with this team on the road against a good defense it is not the QB that is the problem. It would either be o-line or coaching. If he is successful as in the Bills hit some WRs and TEs more than 5 yards downfield the problem the last 5 games is easily diagnosed as the quarterback. What have we got to lose. Nothing.
