Brohm couldn't beat out the Pacs 7th rounder but he can beat out the Bills 3rd rounder (TE), our last 1st rounder (JPL), and is as good if not better than our starter, Patrick fits Ryan. So what's your point. He is an upgrade for this team. Players adjust differently and many don't get it till year three or so. Didn't Brees suck his first two years and that's why SD drafted Rivers? Give the guy a chance but draft and pick up FA's in case he doesn't work out.

I agree completely with this response. Every NFL owner is in this for two reasons (one) ego; (two) money, Ralph is no different than any of them. They operate their team as a business as they should. Anyone that considers college and pro sports as anything but a business is naive. We choose to give money to these owners our money by buying $100 shirts with someone else's name, paying to see whatever foul brand of football they throw on the field and buying all of their other crap. We will be okay as long as Buddy & Chan realize that as you state Our QBs suck, our O-line sucks, Whitner sucks, our team sucks, we've got holes everywhere. This solution leaves a line that is 2- 3 years away from being NFL caliber. Individually the players are promising but in reality the line is not. The problem is if we get a rookie LT that means at the beginning of the season -- LT - zero starts in the nfl (rookie) LG - 16 starts (Levitre) C - zero starts at C (Wood) LG - experience (Incog) RT - 3 or 4 starts at RT (Butler) Again a very young and inexperienced line. This equals poor blitz pick ups, slow execution, dumb penalties, lost football games, a QB that will not have time to throw deep and a QB that will quickly lose confidence as soon as the opposing teams figure out the line can only support a check down offense. This offensive will repeat years 2002 through 2009.

I think what we will see from the Bills for the next two to four years: little or no money spent on free agents. little money spent on a coaching staff. modest improvement on offense (mainly due to injured coming back) which may lead us to a mediocre 8-8 team in two or three years. no improvement on defense as we will lack imagination and a stout D line. root for this crap team and quit bitchin philosophy from ownership as they continue to do as little as possible. resulting decline in season ticket sales and revenues. the team is stripped down to bare bones to enhance an easy sale and exit from town. in the meantime they are your Bills (and Toronto's) so enjoy this fetid, smelly, slimy turd being squished down our throats. no matter how much spit and polish you put on a turd it is still a turd.
