  1. No posts about the fourth estates complicity in Elizabeth Holmes's crimes? For shame, PPP. Her appeal essentially boiled down to the fact that she was a woman in a Steve Jobs turtleneck. In reality she is a moderately intelligent sociopath who took advantage of (among others) blundering Obama-era media empires to make herself rich. Aside from John Carreyrou nobody questioned any of it until the government started looking hard at their tech. Even after Carreyrou published, companies like NBC gave her a platform to spew lies.
  2. I can't be the only degenerate who consumes energy drinks. One large mug of coffee at home, one 30oz or so travel mug filled before work. Usually that's it, but if I have to pull a longer day I'll get a large $0.99 coffee and throw a couple of the stok espresso shots in there as well. On reeeaaalllly long days or drives I'll grab a Monster Rehab or two. Used to drink a Rehab or two every day but switched to black coffee almost exclusively a couple years back. No sugar either, don't want the beetus.
  3. If money talks his current position is silent compared to what would essentially be top football guy for an NFL franchise.
  4. And in NY everything is section 8 housing now, because you can't discriminate based on how the rent is paid.
  5. Rochester now has one of the highest murder rates in the country at about 39 murders per 100,000 residents. On par with Detroit, I think. Good for top ten even as homicides skyrocket across the country. Meanwhile the criminal anti-cop mayor (who has since left office) had to declare a state of emergency due to the rapid increase in violent crime.
  6. Yeah even before the pandemic it took three months minimum to evict someone. And many of the ways you can vet prospective tenants in charlotte are illegal in NY.
  7. lol bro I’m sorry but where do you own your properties? It doesn’t sound like anyplace in NY because it’s literal hell here now.
  8. WOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  9. Kicking off now at 3:40. Nobody's punctual anymore.
  10. Yeah after my first spectrum contract (internet only) it took a solid hour to return the modem so I just bought my own the next time.
  11. What's a "cable company?" Is that how you'd get wire and stuff back in the day?
  12. I'm not sure if I'm on the outside looking at an inside joke but he's just talking about banning everyone who posts...right? The way everyone else has responded makes me question my already borderline sanity.
  13. You mean the guy who made zero power plays while Trump was in office? And that wasn't where I was going, but it would be a catamite saying "We have the right to bareback ass ***** with hundreds of strangers! Why did you invent AIDS???"
  14. Replace Biden with a CIA officer and the other dude with an underweight catamite we can make a real good one. Care to take a crack at it?
  15. All these females and not a single mention of Tina Turner 🥴
  16. Having met many security guards I can tell you first hand how little we'd find on those scans.
  17. While we're on the topic of subsidizing the spread of disease, can we talk about the billions spent on AIDS treatment and research every year? I think for $10M we could probably get condoms in bulk and airdrop them into large cities and other palaces of *****.
  18. Well yes, it’s insane, and the fact that that sort of thing is introduced is also insane. Context matters regardless of sanity which is why I pointed it out.
  19. Democrats have been winning elections this way since the 60s. You know how this gets fixed? Not firing people for not getting a shot for a disease they likely won’t suffer any long term ill effects from. Then none of them get unemployment. Go figure.
  20. The claim is not that there is no FDA-approved vaccine. You didn't read it.
  21. It's a bill that's been introduced a few times by Assemblyman Perry since 2015 or so. Never made it out of committee and now that it's been brought significant attention Perry has withdrawn it. I think initially it had something to do with Ebola. But it would have allowed DOH Commissioner or the Governor to order the detention of an individual with a disease that could threaten the public health.
  22. America used to be a live and let live kind of place, for the most part. "You don't have to like the SOB, but if he moves into your neighborhood just find a way to get along." This was the mantra, and nobody talked about sex, politics, or religion at a dinner table. This all began to evaporate in the mid-'00s, but it had started heating up back in the 60s.
