Congrats To The Fans Of The 4 Playoff Teams.....
LeviF replied to Bill from NYC's topic in College Football
They're certainly capable of doing it to any team in the country. I thought the line would move more but Vegas anticipates a close game: the public is absolutely hammering UGA -6.5 and Vegas is content to let them do so without moving to the magic number 7 (in fact the line opened at 7 but very quickly moved to 6.5 after some very notable bets taken on Ohio State). Interestingly it looks like the sharps are on the Ohio State ML with 2/3 of the handle on Ohio State...but similar to the spread Vegas isn't budging much on those odds either. We actually saw something very similar recently in the Bills-Dolphins Saturday night matchup. Similar open, similar money splits, everything indicating Vegas believed that the Bills win by less than a touchdown...and they won by less than a touchdown. I'm anticipating a close game but won't be shocked if UGA runs them out of the building. An inferior Michigan squad has, now two years in a row, beaten Ohio State through out-muscling and out-coaching them. Those are weaknesses that UGA can take advantage of as well. On the other hand, the Georgia defense hasn't been tested quite like this so far this year; Ohio State's WRs will be the best they've seen. I got UGA by 4. Gonna be a fun one! -
What is better, no guns, or more guns?

Oh sorry thought I answered before. I don't care. I'm correct. Arson should be a hanging offense. -

This is hilarious. On video we have the young Rittenhouse being attacked during a riot, during said attack he shoots a convicted kiddie diddler, a burglar, and a wife-beater in what a jury found to be entirely lawful self-defense. So Ms. Jen up here (along with you, our Bostonian friend) must be mad about something OTHER than those facts, correct? We can speculate that perhaps she is mad about the fact that he was there at all. But why? Is she also angry that the above-mentioned felons showed up armed to riot? Apparently not. And let's be real - of the two groups that showed up (rioters and Rittenhouse's ilk), one group was defending local businesses against a major riot and the other, well, wasn't. So even if you want to castigate BOTH groups involved Rittenhouse still isn't the primary villain. That really leaves us with one option: Jen believes that what the child molester, burglar, and abuser were doing was the right and proper thing. Perhaps they were even acting on behalf of the proper authorities - in which case Kyle Rittenhouse is a criminal because he killed two civil servants in the course of their duties (during an election year!). Am I above the target yet? -

Are we upset about people noticing things on social media again? -
High trust societies don't just happen. They are not the default of the human experience. They require careful curation and rigid enforcement over generations. Low trust societies do just happen. They are the default of the human experience. Without the rigid enforcement described above, a high trust society can (and will) revert to a low trust society within one generation.

lol guys this is how democracy works. It's how it's always worked. This an extreme case of a daily phenomenon. See also: 44, 45, 46, Harris, I could go on. To run for high office in this country you need to be at the very least amoral. Clinically anti-social is better. Normal people don't want the publicity or minor celebrity that comes with it because normal people almost to a man have some kind of skeleton(s) in the closet. This is what you get when you combine democracy in which suffrage is universal with the age of the internet.

Knowing Diggs he's got about four but none of them can leave their homes due to the storm.

This year woefully few but enough over the years to understand the symptoms of BUBFS

I guess technically it falls under the rule. ***** way to end the season. But as a team, this is not a ***** way to end the season. By any metric GASo should be scoring at will but this Bulls D stepped up big time and took advantage of sloppy play and mistakes.
-
A fade on 3rd and Goal 😑
-
Fix is in boys. Some weirdness in the live line for GASo...ballooned to +175ML long enough for the refs to get their bets in and then back down to +125.
-
Nice rhythm from UB so far while GASo can't seem to find any. That under 67 points total looks pretty good right now lol

18 Absurdities of the McConnell-Schumer Omnibus Spending Bill
LeviF replied to Albwan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Say what you will about "The Squad" but there's a few principles sprinkled amongst them, whether you agree with those principles or not. AOC did help stuff this bill but balked at the ICE funding...can't have it both ways I suppose. -

Is there anyone who has produced a full throated defense of this? Or is it literally just gerontocracy in action and any illusion of representation is gone? you constantly respond to my posts with nonsense about trump. This is odd considering what I’ve said here about trump and the fact that trump was not nearly right enough for my taste. Congress began looting the treasury long ago, shortly after 9/11. You have no business talking about these things amongst adults. -

We can stop selling guns to 18 year olds as soon as 18 year olds can no longer vote.
