  1. That’s a feature for democrats, not a bug. They literally closed churches en masse less than three years ago in several states.
  2. I would bet that NFL players are more religious than the general population. American blacks are more likely to be religious than the general population and obviously the NFL has more black people, by percentage, than the general population.
  3. Reminder that gheyface Glenn is not our friend:
  4. Gottlieb is ok but there’s a reason he just had his show trimmed to two hours.
  5. I wonder why LibsOfTikTok insists on continuing to notice things posted on social media by public school teachers. https://chicagocitywire.com/stories/638582935-i-m-ready-to-f-right-now-i-m-not-gonna-be-gentle-either-oig-report-details-cps-teachers-sexual-grooming-assaults-of-their-students?fbclid=IwAR1huusMVh9JqplpvRRs3-wkMIlF23eQErvBYCMH5Q6aWe632TMfC8aVRhM
  6. Figured it out. Detroit holds head to head tiebreaker over GB, but Seattle has the head to head over Detroit. If it were just between Seattle and GB then GB would be in the 7th slot.
  7. A tiebreaker must flip the other way with wins by GB and Seattle next weekend.
  8. Vegas nails it again…kinda. They never seem to account for the fact that college defenses just like, don’t anymore if they give up a couple scores in a row. Over got obliterated. Now we get to watch Georgia obliterate TCU. It’s too bad the committee hates the idea of immediate rematches because Georgia - Ohio State is what we deserved for a final.
  9. Holy coverage bust
  10. If Michigan had a real QB they could have abandoned the first and second down runs up the middle for no gain on every goal to go situation. Abysmal play calling near the goal line. Officiating was pretty poor. Exciting game but not a “good” game.
  11. TCU beating Michigan at their own game here.
  12. Holy steam. Ohio state down to +5. Not very often you see the pros and the public all going against the best team in the country.
  13. I mean, Italians are Latinx, right? They invented Latin, after all. Then there's this: https://variety.com/2022/film/news/john-leguizamo-slams-chris-pratt-mario-movie-casting-white-actors-1235434714/ It's-a me! Mexico!
  14. Hispanic, Italian. Basically the same thing. Stupid prefixes and too many syllables.
  15. Have you seen his face? He’s not *pretending* to be gay.
  16. I know I'll sleep better tonight knowing that Captain Autism is behind bars.
  17. They're certainly capable of doing it to any team in the country. I thought the line would move more but Vegas anticipates a close game: the public is absolutely hammering UGA -6.5 and Vegas is content to let them do so without moving to the magic number 7 (in fact the line opened at 7 but very quickly moved to 6.5 after some very notable bets taken on Ohio State). Interestingly it looks like the sharps are on the Ohio State ML with 2/3 of the handle on Ohio State...but similar to the spread Vegas isn't budging much on those odds either. We actually saw something very similar recently in the Bills-Dolphins Saturday night matchup. Similar open, similar money splits, everything indicating Vegas believed that the Bills win by less than a touchdown...and they won by less than a touchdown. I'm anticipating a close game but won't be shocked if UGA runs them out of the building. An inferior Michigan squad has, now two years in a row, beaten Ohio State through out-muscling and out-coaching them. Those are weaknesses that UGA can take advantage of as well. On the other hand, the Georgia defense hasn't been tested quite like this so far this year; Ohio State's WRs will be the best they've seen. I got UGA by 4. Gonna be a fun one!
  18. Oh sorry thought I answered before. I don't care. I'm correct. Arson should be a hanging offense.
  19. I knew nothing about this guy until you posted this picture. Physiognomy is real. DeSantis looks like a mafioso on vacation which is far less stomach-churning than what this other guy’s face tells me.
  20. Yeah that's the part that kills me did NOBODY do any opposition research on this guy? Downstate dems just assuming every election has been "fortified" for them?
  21. This is hilarious. On video we have the young Rittenhouse being attacked during a riot, during said attack he shoots a convicted kiddie diddler, a burglar, and a wife-beater in what a jury found to be entirely lawful self-defense. So Ms. Jen up here (along with you, our Bostonian friend) must be mad about something OTHER than those facts, correct? We can speculate that perhaps she is mad about the fact that he was there at all. But why? Is she also angry that the above-mentioned felons showed up armed to riot? Apparently not. And let's be real - of the two groups that showed up (rioters and Rittenhouse's ilk), one group was defending local businesses against a major riot and the other, well, wasn't. So even if you want to castigate BOTH groups involved Rittenhouse still isn't the primary villain. That really leaves us with one option: Jen believes that what the child molester, burglar, and abuser were doing was the right and proper thing. Perhaps they were even acting on behalf of the proper authorities - in which case Kyle Rittenhouse is a criminal because he killed two civil servants in the course of their duties (during an election year!). Am I above the target yet?
  22. Are we upset about people noticing things on social media again?
  23. Funny how we haven't heard much about "speaking troof to powuh" a whole lot since February 2021.
  24. High trust societies don't just happen. They are not the default of the human experience. They require careful curation and rigid enforcement over generations. Low trust societies do just happen. They are the default of the human experience. Without the rigid enforcement described above, a high trust society can (and will) revert to a low trust society within one generation.
  25. lol guys this is how democracy works. It's how it's always worked. This an extreme case of a daily phenomenon. See also: 44, 45, 46, Harris, I could go on. To run for high office in this country you need to be at the very least amoral. Clinically anti-social is better. Normal people don't want the publicity or minor celebrity that comes with it because normal people almost to a man have some kind of skeleton(s) in the closet. This is what you get when you combine democracy in which suffrage is universal with the age of the internet.
