You have to choose one. Who has the better voice?

Adele could have found a home singing opera if she wanted. -

Just the voice? It's Adele and it's not particularly close. Overall artistry I give the nod to Gaga. Adele's voice is arguably more interesting than her songwriting and production lol -
I know a handful of states have them and NY has indicated they will make them available before the end of 2023. I occasionally work with alcohol compliance at some local concert venues and one of the managers is asking me about them. Depending on requirements and what it costs to implement verification devices/software, they're considering requiring physical documents only for age verification, at least for the foreseeable future. Do you use one? How well does it work for verifying age or identity at liquor stores, bars, government buildings, etc.? Do proprietors scan it like they would a physical license or do they have some kind of special equipment on hand for them? Is there some kind of app for yours, or does it use Apple wallet?

Why do the gays love the dems so much ?
LeviF replied to Teddy KGB's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I’ll give Billsy this - he understands propaganda. He knows just as well as the rest of us the truth of the matter. But his tactless shrieking is revealing: the point is that repeating the lie that nobody is allowed to question despite how obviously false it might be is a humiliation ritual. It’s late-state propaganda for a regime that has overthrown the previous one. -
Just your friendly reminder that everything - the “experts,” credentialers, the fourth estate, etc. - it’s all BS all the way down. You can safely ignore them.

Is it time for the US military to take action in Mexico?
LeviF replied to ArdmoreRyno's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
"cause there’s no way to isolate and attack a criminal network with an army" Mexico literally just had open battles against cartel factions using - you guessed it - their army. -
Here in the dark, I cherish the moonlight I'm in love with the way you're in love with the night And it travels from heart to limb to pen And we waited for the sirens that never come, And we only write by the moon, Every word handwritten

Their government sanctions the kidnapping and murder of federal agents on their soil. What has Syria done that's worse? You were here shilling for regime change there. -

As you’ve already apparently guessed, the quantity of drugs coming into the US hasn’t changed so much as the “quality.” The cartels used to traffic a shitload of marijuana but now that it’s legal/decriminalized in many states they’ve diversified. Cocaine, heroin, meth, and fentanyl are moneymakers for them now as well. Easy way to track this sort of thing is to look at CBP figures for seizures at the southwest border. -

You’re talking past each other. By definition people that traffic drugs across the border aren’t migrants, because they aren’t migrating, they’re trafficking drugs. But yes many illegal border crossers are in fact not “migrants” but coyotes and drug traffickers. -

The Mexican government is less legitimate and more corrupt than Syria and 2010 Libya combined. Been the case for many years. -

Long past time, tbh. Reagan should have sacked up when Kiki Camarena was tortured and killed. Would have headed off a lot of the problems we face now. -
Has a woman ever wanted to leave you for working too much ?
LeviF replied to Teddy KGB's topic in Off the Wall
One did leave me for "working too much." I put the scare quotes in because that was the excuse given and that was fine, but I suspected it had more to do with her assessment of the long-term viability of our relationship, given she was a little older with more buy-in and I was 24 at the time and not really looking to settle down. It was early in my career so I was doing shift work as well as taking whatever overtime was on offer while she was a tenure-track teacher working 8-3 with an adjunct gig in the summer teaching one class at the local university. Final straw was when I went to Baltimore for a Bills game on short notice, which she correctly pointed out I managed to take time off for while I had taken none to spend time with her. Fair enough. She correctly saw that I was prioritizing work and a football team over spending time with her and made her exit. I say all this really to highlight the differences in the situations. You're in your 40s, I think, and she's in her 30s with kids from a prior relationship, no? You're a small business owner which requires a certain amount of dedication and "hustle." One might think that should be understood by now but there's a balance to be struck and expectations need to be appropriately set. She's a teacher and has come to expect from her experience that after a certain amount of time she can be "comfortable" regarding her compensation and work hours and balancing that with her kids' needs while that isn't necessarily your experience in your field and having no kids of your own. Maybe a "come to Jesus Moses" conversation is in order, assuming it's not a dead horse that doesn't need another beating. -
Pretty clear this footage should have at least been made available to the defendants. Possible exculpatory evidence being withheld would normally set democrats off. Now maybe in the full context they still get found guilty but this is the sort of thing the justice systems in the west tend to be finicky over. But since the democrats have been entirely overrun with bolsheviks at the national level, the administrators that belong to them at the justice department and in the judiciary more closely resemble the Cheka than any true law enforcement or criminal justice system.

Combating imaginary racism with actual racism??
LeviF replied to Unforgiven's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The entire education system, from curriculum design to educating future teachers, has been captured by bolsheviks since the 1970s. -
I had a dream about you once I could barely see your form And I met you between the wax and the needle In the words of my favorite song And your black hair was like a raven With your tan skin on the beach And your backdrop were the Auroras And my sidekick was all this grief And I been so low down, I been almost level with the ground
