Not trying to get argument-ably involved here, but have military commanders/generals come out with any arguments against repealing don't ask don't tell? Just curious at this point. I can't remember seeing any.
64 characters for your home wireless network is probably a bit much. A 16 character password would be sufficient. Anything guarded with less than a 12 character password is just asking to be stolen.
From my standpoint, the problem arises when you start causing nontrivial harm to animals that can feel pain. It's one thing if you kill dogs quickly (as painlessly as possible) and eat them. It's completely another to have them fight each other until one is crippled/dead.
That's why I'm a fan of personal religion, rather than organized religion. I saw an interesting (and amazingly creepy) video on youtube about some of the more mysterious deaths involving scientologists, I'll see if I can find it.
