Hanging out with my cousin in Letchworth State Park at age 7 or 8 or something like that. There's a bit of snow on the ground, so we slide down a hill on our stomachs. Ended up splitting my head open on a rather large rock. Boy Scout camp when I was 13 or so. My tent-mate brought food into our tent without my knowledge, and forgot to take it out before bed. I wake up in the middle of the night with a huge brown bear in the middle of our tent. He ended up grabbing my tent-mate's bag and walking out with it. Scared the **** out of me though. Got some near-death experiences, but those were all from obvious risks.

I've always much preferred headphones anyway. There aren't many earbuds that can compare to a good pair of headphones, and the white earbuds that come with your iPod don't even come close.

I am still in college, but it's the collective "we," rather than the royal "we." I never minded reading Rand. However, the kid that I know who carries The Fountainhead around is an idiot who, half the time, doesn't even know what she was writng about. It gets annoyng after a while. Say, five seconds.

I think we all knew that guy in college who carried his old, beaten-up copy of The Fountainhead around with him at all times.
