So strange...I've been coming to this site almost daily for the last, what, almost 30 years? Yikes. I feel like I should at least recognize most everyone here, but I honestly don't remember Flaz at all, and that makes me feel bad. Sounds like he had a rough go of it there, and it always makes me sad when a Bills fan passes before getting to see them win it all. RIP.

He didn’t post on the wall a lot. Mostly a lurker and shoutbox resident.

Some here call people racist over the out of control border situation during the Brandon era. Isn’t that something!

They are too used to their magic words having power over people, and lash out in pain when they realize it, with increasing frequency, has no effect at all.

I made peace long ago with my answer to the question, "would you rather be called racist or have your people dispossessed of their ancestral homeland?"

Nope.  I like wide open spaces and plenty of room. Is someone or something forcing you to live inner city?

No, I pay the tax as well. I did live in the inner city (mostly by) choice for some time. The neighborhood didn’t seem to mind; I’m a fair man.

So you're equally offended by native-born black/brown people and foreign black/brown people.

Go pat yourself on the back. An equal opportunity racist.

It's the internet racism club. "We don't care what race you are, so long as you're racist!" ™️

Welcome aboard, by the way. My census tract test is undefeated so don't feel bad.

I have no idea what this is supposed to mean, other than that once again you seem to be conflated race with alienage.

You insist I simply never want to see brown people again. I’m simply asking you to put your money where your mouth is. Sounds like you pay a premium for whatever reason. Wonder what that might be.

When the rest of the world calls us "Dumb Americans", it's legitimate and for a reason.  Because it's mainly true.

Won't love it when food, restaurant and hotel prices go thru the roof tho.  And if you think they have increased "a lot"...just wait, you haven't seen anything yet.

I’m surprised you haven’t retired from posting coal yet since you should be a bazillionaire from crypto by now.

That said, I’d gladly pay $40 for a sandwich if it means I never have to see an alien again.

  7. The Biden admin handed out asylum, parole, SSNs, and work auths like they were candy, knowing full well that it would be logistically impossible to give them all some kind of day in court prior to removal. The admin then surrendered the fate of these people to the whims of the "We're Going to Deport Them All" party by losing an election.

Btw, deporting them all to a 3rd world supermax is the moderate-left option.

This Sunday might be a fork in the road for his career.......if he would have fully choked this tournament away and lost, that might have been too much to bear, and something he never would have fully recovered from. Now that he got this "Monkey off his back", maybe the floodgates will open up.

Watching him on Sunday, as someone who usually gets an unhealthy amount of pleasure in other people's mental anguish, was horrifying. Golf is incredible - watching guys who are in the 1% of 1% of something just fall into the abyss of their own mind, where there seems to be no bottom, and it all comes out through tiny variations in a finely tuned set of movements.

Then to watch him grab onto a ledge and haul himself back up again...man, I love golf.

Fans, yes. But I highly doubt we would do any of their songs. We talked about adding some Yacht Rock songs into our set list, but that idea faded. As what was talked about earlier in the thread, the bands people come to see and spend money at, are plying Bon Jovi, Journey, and the like. We're shifting more towards that, but not totally diving in. (Adding Cuts Like a Knife, 867-5309, Jessie's Girl, but also still doing Personal Jesus, Million Miles Away, Psycho Killer, and Dangerous Type).

FWIW, Psycho Killer always gets a good reaction for the local cover bands here that bring in the money.

We used to do Dead Mans Party when we had a female lead singer. That song is just a bit out of the range for our keyboard/male lead singer.

When we were learning it, we had a saying within the group.  "***** Danny Elfman".

When it comes to learning those songs, Elfman falls into the plurality of geniuses I call “insufferable genius.”

  11. Always amusing to watch people who ostensibly hate CEOs and BigFi and corporations come and cry about their stonks going down. Thanks, guys.

That said, every Reagan Republican better be on their knees praying that Trump actually tanks what's left of the real economy, otherwise their economic policy preferences are dead letter forever. "Line go up" idol is gonna come crashing down hard.

So about 15% of voters agreed with Voter ID, but also voted for the liberal Supreme Court judge.

Sometimes we do need to listen to the voice of the people. Maybe someday there will be a sensible political party again.

My theory is that 15% is the Republicans who are quietly one issue voters on abortion (on the pro abortion side).

Seems like the only option since I don't think there are any dems who would vote for this woman and also want voter ID in their constitution.
