Have they tried sitting on each others' shoulders and wearing a trenchcoat? Seems to work in the tv shows.

New GOP tactic: Repeal the 19th Amendment!
LeviF replied to Roundybout's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Well we did the 19th and found out that, for many women, the chief political issue in their lives is whether they can kill their kids. -

If their island is so great why are they in Pennsylvania? -

There are only two historical symbols that inspire the kind of rage folks like "Mrs. Butters" love to display on the internet. They are the cross, and of course the hooked cross. I do find it interesting that the venn diagram of people who blindly hate these symbols is essentially a circle. -

If public order and punishing criminals is equated to fascism in your rhetoric you probably shouldn’t be surprised at the outcome when people decide to think that association through to its logical end. -
Honestly it probably depends on the jurisdiction. The fighting experience thing can cut both ways. If he could articulate that the level of force was reasonably necessary and that it was a blood choke that could end the threat in five seconds based on his training it might be fine. But this is a good reason to never talk to the police. Let your lawyer do it.
-
You’re good to choke so long as you’re also good to shoot. That’s the standard. Deadly physical force justified under article 35.
-
A choke is considered deadly physical force in NY. I'm not saying I agree or disagree but there is no longer any chokes taught in a DCJS class for that reason.
-
Normal self-defense rules still apply. Gonna vary by state. If they knock someone out with one punch in a self defense scenario they're probably good. An MMA guy applying a choke might be a different story.
-
No, but prosecutors will absolutely use a fighter's training and extensive experience to beef up charges against them. There's kind of an understanding that trained fighters have extra responsibility to walk away from laymen trying to pick a fight.

Trump Is A Fascist, Does Anyone Really Deny That?

Why don't you tell us what your catholic grandparents thought about sodomites. -

lol You don't get to invoke "our" grandfathers and great grandfathers when we both know they would be more likely to beat the ever-loving ***** out of you for your political beliefs since they were, by any modern standard, "right-wing extremists." -

I was saying it out loud over 7 years ago. Levi: “I am a fascist” TBD leftists: “woah man, careful with the kind of language you’re using” Levi: “We need strong central leadership to crush the subversive elements embedded in the nation” TBD leftists: “hey, those sound like dog whistles” Levi: “Millions must go back” TBD leftists: “just say what you mean already” etc. etc. -

I remember one play where he ran past the defender and just stood a foot behind him.

Pizza-purveying personnel pummel pistol-packing-punk
LeviF replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall
I wasn't trying to make a point. "Stand your ground" means different things in different places so it can be helpful to show what it means in (in this case) Texas. Brings some clarity to discussions of hypothetical legal consequences. -

Sec. 9.32. DEADLY FORCE IN DEFENSE OF PERSON. (a) A person is justified in using deadly force against another: (1) if the actor would be justified in using force against the other under Section 9.31; and (2) when and to the degree the actor reasonably believes the deadly force is immediately necessary: (A) to protect the actor against the other's use or attempted use of unlawful deadly force; or (B) to prevent the other's imminent commission of aggravated kidnapping, murder, sexual assault, aggravated sexual assault, robbery, or aggravated robbery. (b) The actor's belief under Subsection (a)(2) that the deadly force was immediately necessary as described by that subdivision is presumed to be reasonable if the actor: (1) knew or had reason to believe that the person against whom the deadly force was used: (A) unlawfully and with force entered, or was attempting to enter unlawfully and with force, the actor's occupied habitation, vehicle, or place of business or employment; (B) unlawfully and with force removed, or was attempting to remove unlawfully and with force, the actor from the actor's habitation, vehicle, or place of business or employment; or (C) was committing or attempting to commit an offense described by Subsection (a)(2)(B) -
Is there some way I can get her to call my wife and tell her this? Caught her sneaking Christmas music yesterday whilst cleaning and it's just downhill from there.

Soft on crime Democrats - the system is the problem?

Remember, when needed, that judges have names, addresses, loved ones, etc. There may be only one solution to the problem leftist judges impose on us. -

Flame away, but on first glance (I haven't watched any replays since) I thought Josh flopped at the end of that one to make it look like Kinlaw slammed him down as a second act.
