  1. And you act as though this massive influx of people from an entirely different part of the world will have no negative consequences. There isn't a chance that they'll assimilate or contribute more than they take. Merkel is the same woman who five years ago said that multiculturalism is a failure and that immigrants to Germany had failed to assimilate. Nothing has changed, the same thing will happen here. 2. It's not nearly as silly as comparing postwar Europeans to the huddled masses trudging across Hungary at the moment.
  3. Hysteria and fear-mongering? My position is consistent with my position on illegal immigration in the US. I suppose Guatemalans and Mexicans are fleeing the war in Syria too?
  4. Guess now you're racist too. Remember, Greg: anyone who doubts the false narrative you're being spoon-fed is a big, scawee, waaaayyycist!
  5. Post-war Europeans wanted to rebuild their home, not flee to a new one. Much less move from one country that's already taken them in to another for the better freebies. And middle and upper class Syrians and Iraqis, for the most part, aren't walking through Hungary at the moment. I'm sure everyone is more than willing to take in those who can contribute in the modern working world. It's the ones who can't even maintain simple irrigation systems they're trying to pass off on one another. As to your last statement, I know where I stand and silly accusations don't scare me; and when it comes to half-baked Hollywood writers and their opinions of me:
  6. Educations, motivations, and intentions vary wildly between the two populations.
  7. How about rejecting them at the border? It's like Europeans have forgotten what wire, rubber bullets, and tear gas are. Ha! Comparing these folks to post-war Europeans is bordering on mad.
  8. Now that we've established that, why should any country in Europe help a single one of them?
  9. And let's face it, even the "refugees" are going to be migrants. They aren't going home once the conflict ends.
  10. Please. Some of these "refugees" are fleeing "hardship" from a very safe distance from the conflict in Syria.
  11. Seems to depend on the year. She seems to go long stretches where she just can't refuse the donut. As to your actual question, whatever you're comfortable with. If you don't mind the little extra work and extra teaching when it comes to bathing, let it be.
  12. We'll keep an eye on the sun; if it suddenly goes dark we'll know you've arrived.
  13. The picture without the sunglasses make me think "woof." Pass.
  14. I'm in there with you guys. I'll look for the gugly guy, should be easy not to hug or kiss him.
  15. Ask not for whom the bell tolls.
  16. Not even close.
  17. I waved a beer under his nose. Practically jumped through the ceiling.
  18. Since BringBackFergy requested no Fireball shots, I picked up a bottle of Absinthe.
  19. So what do you guys think about Trump's new campaign poster? http://twt-thumbs.washtimes.com/media/image/2015/08/26/gunman_s878x918.jpg?9300b3ccffdd437968616acd1b80788ffa6580b1
  20. It's actually easy to mess up killing yourself.
  21. Only, what, 8 posts too late? Ditch the sanctimonious garbage already.
  22. Doesn't look like anything official to me. Might be just a madman who made his own "uniform."
  23. Cruz - 94% Santorum - 94% Walker - 92% Bush - 91% Perry - 88% Huckabee - 87% Paul - 86% Rubio - 85% Carson - 83% Trump - 78% Fiorina - 75% Christie - 69% Kasich - 67% Clinton - 19% Sanders - 12% O'Malley - 9% (lol) Right-Wing Libertarian.
