  1. I'm just saying, man, if there's a standard for it than gugny's position isn't arbitrary by any means. Yes, I'm sure Kaep and company are very upset about a blonde chick from SLC getting arrested for no good reason.
  2. Arbitrary? You know there's music written for it, right?
  3. If we want this sent off to PPP in a hurry we can talk about the merits of their reasoning.
  4. THIS DEAR GOD THIS
  5. Stop trying to rob us of nerd points!
  6. I could probably hunt down some murderer that agrees with you on a bunch of things. Does that make your alignment with that issue morally sub-optimal?
  7. As TYTT pointed out upthread - would you care to compile a list of sins that preclude you from having meaningful opinions on one topic or another?
  8. I've always stood for it at every sporting event I've been at. Can't say I remember what the players did though.
  9. Girl knows how to drink. But girl also knows how to eat
  10. Fair enough man. I'm a hardcore 1st, 2nd, 4th...heck all the amendments guy (except for the 18th amendment...!@#$ that one).
  11. If that's what you got out of my posts I'm not sure there's any sense in explaining my point to you, but why not. My point was that so far no NFL team has told their players they can't do this sort of thing. This is probably because the press would be awful. Contrary to popular opinion, I don't think all press is good press, and the media laps this **** up and loves to dump on anyone who disagrees (see: the endless media hype around Kaep being "blackballed"). As far as a BLM protest outside the stadium on Sunday...have you met anyone from Buffalo? Do you really think that'd stay peaceful with thousands of drunk Buffalo people there? I said nothing about anyone's rights. You clearly have an axe to grind but it isn't with me.
  12. Do you get paid for missing the point or is it more of a hobby?
  13. What, you want a BLM protest outside the stadium next Sunday? I'm not saying they should or shouldn't cut him or whatever, but imagine the press if the Bills said "hey, as your employer we're saying you can't do that on the clock anymore." That may be well within their rights, but that doesn't mean they should do it.
  14. Meh. The last thing a team needs is to be an !@#$ to some guy who does something like this. As long as the NFL allows it he can do it. He isn't exactly the first one to do it.
  15. Doc pretty much summed it up. The Night's King fell in love with an other, implying the Night King already existed (as he was the first White Walker and the subsequent creator of the other ones).
  16. Almost forgot this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEB7p-XqQp0
  17. With our luck he'll be filling the same shoes at 138 Eagle Street within a decade
  18. As long as the city isn't Shanghai or Beijing that should be fine. Their "urban chicken" ain't no chicken
  19. Trump's a billionaire. I assume all billionaires are crooks of some kind.
  20. NY's AG (Schneiderman) is a crook of the worst variety.
  21. I'm more of a playa than a player but I won't turn down a thank you here or there.
  22. You're thinking of the Night's King.
  23. Do we know that? Just because the Night King was one of the First Men doesn't mean he was a Stark. He's probably related to them somehow though.
  24. It's a theory I guess...but Jon is still aging and will die. So even if death is non-negotiable it doesn't preclude him living past the war.
  25. But didn't we see the Night King as a regular ol' human earlier in the series?
