I went to visit a friend in New Hampshire once. We went out to eat pretty late (like 11pm or so) and got seated in a booth across from a few guys. Not in broad strokes, specific things, like (for instance) the name of an ex girlfriend I hadn’t seen in months and why we broke up and what I needed to do moving forward. He said things about the future too; I’ve done things or had things happen that I completely forgot about him talking about (predicting? Seeing?) until they came to pass. I never believed in any of that stuff but this shook me. There’s a lot of stuff I don’t know but I do know there’s something in or outside the universe beyond what the scientific method can ever help us find.
