  1. Pretty sure the burden of "backing up" anything lies with the administration who came up with a policy that is, on its face, at the very least extremely machiavellian in its pursuit of the outcome "don't overwhelm the hospitals." It's not Monday morning quarterbacking to suggest that sending sick people into a place that has a high density population of the people the sickness is most likely to kill is a questionable idea. The justification of "hey look at this data we had exactly zero access to at the time we made the policy" really doesn't resonate with me either. It's one thing to say "ok maybe that wasn't the primary reason" but for the governor's office to double down repeatedly on what was, once again, one of the most glaringly obvious examples of "possible ends justifying the means" moments in modern political history is blindingly arrogant and, unfortunately, not out of character for that administration.
  2. Gushin' Granny Bowl and Holohoax Field at Hitler Did Nothing Wrong Stadium both have a nice ring to them. https://newsfeed.time.com/2012/08/14/mountain-dews-dub-the-dew-online-poll-goes-horribly-wrong/
  3. I am simultaneously very intrigued and very put off by "Rusty Taco."
  4. Yahoo forgot to edit the URL when they edited the story. Interesting what they left out.
  5. Beyonce says you're irreplaceable, Tibs.
  6. Actually there's a war on men. 97% of people shot by police are men.
  7. Lol “white folks have no shared history so we won’t capitalize white. Also their shared history of discriminating against blacks means we’ll capitalize black.”
  8. Dropped off some paperwork at the DMV for our fleet guy last week. Pulled in right behind a brand new Dodge Journey that had an expired temp tag registered to a 1998 Honda. Black guy on the phone sitting in the driver's seat. Might as well have not seen it at all. I'm a half year from getting vested. ***** that. Sure hope that car didn't get into any accidents later on because it definitely wasn't inspected or insured. *Posted from a church parking lot with lots of shade
  9. Good morning. I did not read your post.
  10. Personally I think a lot of mainstream political views are insane. Anti-vax mostly just dumb. Tossup whether I'd prefer a dumb president or a crazy one. I was probably one of the first to get the varicella vaccine in the states, as I believe it was not approved until 1995. I was still young then. I think I just got the one dose around then at age 5.
  11. Oh wow Levi was right again. All the way from Alaska @3rdnlng
  12. No, but I have no skin in the game either. Now what's interesting is that you fixate on anti-vax positions (something that eventually comes down to individual rights vs. states' rights/responsibilities anyway) in order to undercut things like anti-pedophilia. Does anti-pedophilia align with your values?
  13. Except he's wrong. Federal property means federal jurisdiction means federal police. Kind of like how FPS protects the social security admin building in my city instead of the city PD and Capitol Police protects Congress instead of Metro PD.
  14. Not quite. But to say any vaccine is automatically good is also not in alignment with my ideals. We've doubled the number of vaccines recommended for children under 2 since 1990.
  15. What's funny is Kanye is essentially running on my platform: anti-abortion, anti-pedophile, pro-homestead, pro-nuclear family, anti-big pharma, etc. Now they're coming for him. Why? "He's crazy." What about what he said is crazy? "He said pills are bad." What's the solution? "Put him on pills." ...
  16. Probably the case in NYC, less so here. Retaliatory shootings dating back to February along with the normal dumb *****. Riots really only happened on 2 or 3 nights and was limited to small portions of the city. Believe it or not there wasn't much in the way of shooting injuries the one weekend of riots.
  17. Because a mob of the same people who've been burning their city for six years showed up on their private property. Everyone keeps telling white folks to reflect on their whiteness and figure out what to do moving forward. Well it's happening and I'm not sure your ilk is going to get the results they were looking for.
  18. MO Title 38, Chapter 563:
  19. The McCloskeys were absolutely in the right and frankly would have been in the right had they squeezed off a few rounds into that crowd. Don't @ me.
  20. She’s a 3am knock for sure.
