  1. About time they called holding. That was too blatant to ignore.
  2. What in the world is that challenge for
  3. He definitely has more zip than Trubisky, though.
  4. Makes free agents want to come here too. That, or the palm trees.
  5. 100K for a certain number of punts downed inside the 20.
  6. I love how empty that place is. All the bandwagoners are gone.
  7. Thank god he made it. Didn’t want to hear about Bass going into the postseason.
  8. Can we just get Cook his 1,000 yards and get him out of there?
  9. This game has serious 5th quarter vibes
  10. Stefanski has two COY awards and is still 40-44 as Browns HC.
  11. One talking head (I think RC but can't recall) went so far as to say that because (supposedly) none of Lamar's interceptions were "his fault," he could be treated as though he hasn't thrown any picks at all. I don't remember Josh, or anyone really, getting that kind of treatment. And of course they were all silent on Lamar's 10 fumbles (5 lost) -- twice as many as Josh -- which means he has more turnovers this year (9) than Josh (8). Lamar has also lost 149 yards on 23 sacks this year (6.5 average) compared to Josh's 63 yards lost on 14 sacks (4.5 average). And one guy (I think Foxworth) even said you shouldn't "penalize" Lamar for having Derrick Henry. 🤯 And Bart Scott and Shannon Sharpe - not surprisingly, former Ravens - well, you can actually see how angry both of them get whenever anyone dares to suggest that someone else might be deserving.
  12. Literally every single ESPN segment over the last two weeks has been completely in the tank for Lamar, with at least one voter (Kimes) going so far as to reveal her actual vote. And that started within minutes after Baltimore rolled Houston.
  13. I kind of lean this way as well. ESPN has been beating the drum incessantly for Lamar in an effort to create a media narrative. As a result it will probably be closer than it should be, but most sane people agree that this is Josh's year, and the Pro Bowl balloting (where Josh finished 4th or 5th in fan voting but ended up being named the AFC starter on the strength of writers' and coaches' votes) seems to bear that out.
  14. Even the Bengals and their eight wins have more Pro Bowlers (3) than the Bills (2) but I was told Joe Brr had no help.
  15. Remember when we loved the Bengals for this?
  16. That is nuts that Brady had THREE streaks over 125 starts and they rank 10th, 11th and 12th all time. (First one was broken by Bernard Pollard, the second by Deflategate, and the third by his merciful retirement.) It’s also nuts that Aaron Brooks started 84 consecutive games while throwing 84 interceptions over that same span. Look it up.
  17. Thing is, the Lions don’t even need this win. Even if they lose, next week is still for the division and the 1 seed because they have the tiebreaker (H2H) over Minnesota. Won’t stop Campbell from putting more players in harm’s way and more plays on film than he needs to, though. We’ll see how this plays out.
  18. And back then it seemed that whenever there were X number of sure-fire blue-chip first-round prospects, our draft position, no matter what it was, was always X+1, and our front office was too incompetent to find the right guy from the rest of the pool (see, e.g., Leodis McKelvin, Aaron Maybin, EJ Manuel, etc.). Which tells me that Daboll knows he's on his way out and that was his FU to the organization.
  19. And only about 7% picked 13 or more, which is what the Bills have.
  20. Remember when people were saying in 2020 that Josh was only successful because he didn’t have to perform in front of crowds?
  21. 1. Because unlike any of those guys, Keon was brought here specifically to win jump balls. In fact, by all reports, Josh lobbied for Keon over the other available WRs (including Worthy) for exactly that reason. None of the guys you mentioned would ever ask Josh to “throw it higher.” Also, that play was on first down. If it had been a third- or fourth-down throw, I bet you wouldn’t have seen any gestures out of Keon. 2. They are not the same; see my post from a few minutes ago.
