  1. Yes, Fairbairn did earlier this year, and the refs were so shocked they called it good anyway.
  2. Of course he ***** misses.
  3. They called the one false start on Taylor early to make it look like good, then they went to town. 68-5.
  4. Right now the lines are reflective of what the public thinks, not what Vegas thinks. The public has been showered with Lamar/Henry hype from all directions. From an hour before up to kickoff, that's when you'll see what the sharps are thinking. I think the line tightens then, and might even flip.
  5. I hope to hell we're underdogs on the morning of the game. The public is moving the line in favor of the Ravens which isn't surprising given how the media has glazed Lamar all season, but the pros bet in the first and last hour. If the line creeps back to even or favoring the Bills just before game time, that will be a good sign, but I want it favoring the Ravens at least until the guys have to go on the field, so they can marinate in it. Nothing wrong with a little extra motivation, even in the playoffs.
  6. Thanks! That's perfect. Now to save it for multiple postings after the AFCCG ... or, hopefully, after next weekend
  7. My favorite moment is at 4:35 when Norwood mocks the tomahawk chop. I’ve always wanted a GIF of that.
  8. Unrelated, but I saw Deion’s first MLB game. I went to the Stadium specifically to watch the Mariners and a 19-year-old rookie named Ken Griffey Jr. While scanning the pregame lineups on the scoreboard, I noticed that #18 was batting ninth for the Yankees and playing centerfield. My first thought, no joke, was “Claudell Washington came out of retirement?” I didn’t know who #18 was until Bob Sheppard announced the lineup and got to “Batting ninth-inth-inth…. Playing centerfield-ield-ield… Number eighteen-een-een… Deion-on-on… Sanders-ders-ders… Number eighteen-een-een.” The box score says Deion got his first MLB hit that day too. It was a routine ground ball to the 2B’s left that Deion beat out by a mile. That was pretty cool. But yes, he’s always been a douche.
  9. Let’s not try to imply that Deion was playing for the Yankees when that happened.
  10. First time I can remember that I have absolutely no dog in this fight. No idea who I want to win. It’s weird.
  11. Did… like… anyone hit their blocking assignments?
  12. Marino was a first-ballot HOFer.
  13. One punt, zero turnovers. The vaunted Baltimore offense punted four times yesterday, by the way.
  14. I’m so glad I stayed away from the 1H GDT. I’m sure the firing squad — I’m calling them that from now on — was out in full force. Wasn’t ever worried, really. But I can’t say I expected the D to pitch a shutout after that first series. I did have a very small parlay on Kincaid and Knox TDs that I hedged with single bets that each would have repaid my (again, very small) investment. So my lone moment of unhappiness came when Josh missed Knox on that first drive.
  15. Couldn't find a gif but here's a pic
  16. I remember that like it was yesterday. Derrick Thomas also used Will Wolford as a turnstile all night long. The playoffs were a completely different story.
  17. They use it when it works for them. But Josh sitting out the equivalent of three games because we were blowing people out and clinched early... that doesn't matter. This is also the first time I've EVER seen that graphic include games played.
  18. Josh had better numbers today than Lamar did yesterday. Just saying.
  19. 31-0 domination after Denver’s first series. I’ll take that.
  20. Need this drive so the whiners can stay interested in the game, I guess
  21. Watching those two guys overplay the sideline was hilarious!
  22. Of course they have nine thousand angles for the replay in the playoffs. I think it’s a TD.
