And if he was pulled, he hardly protested. I'm dating myself here, but I remember in 1990 when the Bills were getting clocked in Miami and Marv ordered his starters out of the game. They argued with him on the sidelines. They didn't want to come out of a rivalry game. Bruce in particular was pretty animated. Lamar just went straight to the bench.

We've all played with or seen that guy who suddenly starts limping or grabbing his shoulder when things are bleakest. They can't admit they just got beat. It has to be something else - an injury, the refs, the playing surface, anything but their own performance. -
A few random thoughts about the Saints Game - Please share yours as well

I do know that his name is James Dalvin Cook, and his older brother’s name (you know, the not-as-good RB.. we can say it now) is Dalvin James Cook. His dad might be James Cook Jr. or James Cook II, or he might not be. James Cook III really just signifies that there were two other James Cooks in the family when he was born. -
Point is, the Bills didn’t even need their last timeout. They used them when they needed them. One of them eventually led to a punt and the other basically took points off the board. [Cue the “but what if they DID need them later” wailing…. They didn’t.]

This was funny but did anyone notice the Saints ran out of timeouts with more than 5 minutes left, and the Bills still had one?

Spags? He’s been a head coach. He went 10-38 with the Rams years ago when they were in St. Louis. It’s almost as if … you can lure them into doing it, and then wait for him or his teammates to make a mistake, which usually happens. The Bills actually do the same thing, if you haven’t noticed. The game in Baltimore last year, that was an anomaly; things just got away from us too fast. -

How about that ending in Vegas. Good for the Bears. It’s about time they came out on the other end of that *****. Incredible how that place sounds dominated by Bears fans. Vegas has virtually no HFA. -

When have you EVER heard them mention his record against Buffalo and KC, for example? (It’s 3-10, by the way.) -

It’s entirely possible. It’s also entirely possible he cramped up and that’s why the Ravens punted on 4th and 3 against us. Lots of things are possible. -

The Ravens look so deflated. If you know anything about KC and where the stadium and airport are, that is a LONG ride back to the plane.
