I don’t feel like going back and doing a line-by-line rebuttal, but rest assured I wasn’t just calling *you* out. In fact, most of what I said wasn’t even in response to you. I totally agree it wasn’t a good look for Dion, even if I also think the fans and many on this board are more upset about it than any of his teammates. I think I touched a nerve with the baseball comment, though, so I apologize. All I will say with the benefit of hindsight is that there are no, none, zero “crucial tournaments” in 13U and I will die on that hill. A pattern of poor behavior that infects the team? Sure, cut the kid. But is a one-time thing really that?
