As long as DJ is the coach the offense will continue to regress. Points win games. If it takes the Bills a few losses to get rid of DJ and get an offensive minded coach then we can all only be so lucky. Because defenses are simpler and easier to learn an offensive minded coach should always be in the drivers seat. After all, if I have watched the Bills lose 4 Superbowls and have many losing seasons, so why give up now?

for all divisions of football from pee-wee up to the NFL level? It seems to me they are. It is funny they can penalize a player for celebrating 1 touchdown out of 7 or 8 he may score all year because it intimidates and slows the game down: but, they can throw 20 flags in a game and slow it down and kill ryhtmn and such. I know the sport needs some sort of accountability but come on. Did any see the Nebraska/Virginia Tech game when Nebraska had a 1st and goal and then had to punt from the 40 some odd yard line? The NFL and all divisions need to muffle the refs and let the players celebrate a lil. After all they are spending their lives entertaining us. The stupid refs penalize us as well. Regardless of what the man was doing, other than threataning to kill somebody or molest a child, he did not deserve to die or be treated in any negaitive manner leading up to his death. You people are playing with fire here. 1st if you propose a trade that doesn't happen you have players and fans that are pissed. A pissedoff player will under perform. 2nd when Buffalo's pass rush needs to rise up in theform of more sacks why would you trade off the top DE sack expert? Kelsay, Denney, or Parrish and a pick I can see, but Schobel no way.

The Patriots will win, but it will be close. Let me give my game day grades before the game starts. Bills: Offense: C- Basically there are only two players hitting the field that were permanent starters from last year in playing the same position, Trent Edwards and Lee Evans. Now TO will change things up some and Fred Jackson should have a few decent runs. The low grade here is really going to come from an offensive line that is completely revamped and has had little time together. Shawn Nelson should be sprinkled in here a lot. Buffalo's only hope here is to give Trent just enought time to get rid of the ball positively. Screens, slants, quick in and outs, and a few deep passes to keep em guessing should do the trick. Bills: Defense: B+ Pretty solid core. They can set the tone for the whole game by the pressure they put on Brady. Maybin should be seen a lot on 2nd and 3rd downs. The key is to keep 1st down yardage short. My two concerns here are Keith Ellison and Bryan Scott. Bills: Special Teams: A+ Do I need to say anything? Patriots: Offense: A- Tom Brady does good for the same reason Troy Aikman did, a solid offensive line. The DT's and the OLB's really need to control the run game. Double up on Moss and stuff Welker and they could be in for a long game. The key is to get Brady uncomfortable. Patriots: Defense: B- The only trouble everyone seems to have here is the secondary. Bill B always seems to find smart DB's who can run his game plan so the weakness is yet to be seen. The DL and the LB's will wreak havoc on a young inexperienced Bills OL. Patriots: Special Teams: A Not sure all about them but from what I watched in the past a reallysolid group. The game should prove to be exciting and closer then some think. Last years games were close at times. Buffalo needs to find out quick just how gun shy Brady may be. Schobel, Maybin, and Mitchell should be able to find out quick. A young Bills OL will learn, but they just have to be physical. They need to learn to dominate and how to have the upper hand. NE's OL needs to be looked up to by this group. Bills want tough aggressive OL, they got them. They have to learn to be smart as well. Final prediction: Patriots 27 Bills 17

how long it will take remains to be seen. I'm thinking a 3-13, 4-12 type of season. They guys ar going to go through a lot of growing pains. Jauron needs to be fired for this one reason though: he is a defensive coach. While the defense has some young guys, the offense is younger. They need a coach who is either offense oriented or balanced. The one thing that does worry me is the young offense. By the the time they start gelling contracts will be up and someone is going to be stingy. If we lose 3 game sin the first 5 though Jauron should be gone and the future coach should get his start.

My Bills team is simple. I got to buffalobills.com and get the updated roster. Then I go to IGN or some other website that has the current player ratings and build my Bills team from there. I do a lot of audibles when I get into passing situations and a lot of hot routes. Moving people around also opens things up. On Defense I keep it simple. I move a LB to the weak side and blow up the QB or hit the the RB in the backfield or as he squirts in the hole. When the other team goes to punt get in a return formation and take a DB from the left side of the return team and move him to the right and rush the punter. I get him every time.
