What unrealistic expectations did you have of him? 25 of 30 for 290 yards and 3 TDs? He has only been with the team for 5 weeks, the oline sucks, he has an interm coach, a rookie o coordinator, it was his first ever start, and the Falcons are a pretty good team to just name a few, and your bitching he didn't play well. Really! Your a loser!

I give him a 5. With him only being here for 5 weeks and then only having 3 days with 1st team offense, one really couldn't have asked for miracles. I like the quick decision making and not staring down his primary target. I thought he did ok with all things considered and I would be willing to give some more time to show what he has. Let's put it this way he did no worse than Trent or Fitz, that should something since he is new to the team.

Looking at all the starting QBs in the league, I have a hard time taking Trent over any one of them. Trent is just not a good QB. I have yet to understand what people see in him. He has NEVER proven anything, why all the love?

ZERO! He has no trade value what so ever. Fitzpatrick was/is considered a backup in the league and as of now Trent couldn't hold Fitz jock, so why would any GM want to trade for or sign someone who is worse than a career backup? Man what are you people smoking?

Go figure, Fitzy was sacked 6 times pressured a whole ton more and was still able to over come that and be productive and win the game going away. Trent sure as !@#$ can't do that! All the Trent supporters just want to blame the o-line for his poor play. Today was all the proof you need to see that Trent is NOT and NFL caliber QB. Fitzy gets it done behind the same o-line Trent doesn't get it done.

It starting to look more and more like Jim Haslett is going to be the guy. With all these high profile guys turning down Buffalo, Ralph might not have a choice but to go after Haslett. Provided he doesn't turn down Ralph either.

Absolutely correct, BUT his play declined because as time went on defensive coordinators got more and more and more game film on him and knew how to game plan against him. His downhill spiral is not due to concussions. How many concussions did Steve Young have? He was the same player each time he came back until he ultimately got knocked out for good, and that can go for a whole ton of people in all different sports.
