I never thought Trent was any good from the get go. Didn't like his throwing mechanics from day 1.

Again, what did you expect he was there for 3 weeks prior to the Atl game. He obviously didn't meet your lofty expectations of throwing for 250 yards and 3 TDs and the Bills putting up 30 pts, so therefor in your eyes he is no good. He plays one real game, on a horrific team and you crucify him. WOW just WOW! Nothing like being as unrealistic as one could be. Oh and in those preseason games when has he had the opportunity to play with the 1's. This also proves you only look at stats, not the potential. Therefor you are a statboy.

So what exactaly were you expecting of him? It was his first ever start for a team he had been with for about 3 weeks, and a dysfunctional team at that. I didn't think he did all that great either, stat wise. What I did see though was a guy who recognized the defense at the line, dropped back made quick decisive decisions and threw the ball. He didn't get it right alot in that game but what can you expect, he looked the part. Again I don't know what you were expecting of him but it sounds like you are basing your decision on him not producing in that one game instead of looking at his ability and moxie.

Chances are more in favor that Trent never lights anyone up. Once Jax sees what he is really all about they will get rid of him too.

Amazing what happens when the defense has to respect a downfield passing game. It's totally different when the defense is not putting 8 or 9 in the box isn't it.

Yep, I do. And you do realize guys can play even though they are not 100% right? It's as obvious as the sky is blue that Fred is the better back, and the more complete back. Who over took who last year as the starter?

Fred is a better back. Something tells me if Fred didn't have a bum hand and got as many touches as Lynch he would produce equally or better.

You forget it was a blinding snow storm with white outs and cold and windy, I was there. Very very adverse elements and Fitz performed, unlike the other guy.

We might have a JP vs Trent game in the UFL in the near future.

How about last year with Owens (6'3") Evans (5'10") and all the tight ends were at least 6'3". Fitz is 2 inchs shorter than is Edwards and he was able to find his receivers with no problems.

"Edwards benched" is the best news I have heard come out of One Bills Drive in a long time. Hopefully this shakes the cage and everyone starts playing better.

Who says he sucks worse than Trent? Just because Chan appointed Trent the starter does not mean he is a better QB than Brohm. The open QB competition was not really an open competition, that much we know. I really have a hard time believing Brohm would do worse than Trent. add to that, last year when Fitz came in with the exact same cast of characters and guided the team to a 5-4 record, after going 1-6. QB changes do work, they really do.

That's what happens when the defense does not respect the passing game. What would you do if you knew the qb would not throw the ball more than 5 yards down field? I would single cover both receivers and put 9 in the box until the qb proves to me he is going to at least attempt to throw the ball more than 5 yards. When it's 9 guys trying to be blocked by 7 who do you think is going to win most of the time? A better qb means less guys in the box and evens it out at the los.

a decent defensive effort by the bills is being wasted by the ineptness of the offense.
