  1. It's not about his prime it's about his career Bills avg, which is 4.2 ypc and so far Fred is at 4.5 ypc. You call Fred average yet plays behind a bad oline, yet so far has averaged more ypc to this point than did TT through his career who played behind an oline 1000x better than the one Fred plays behind. I'm not calling Fred a superstar by any means but he is certainly better than "average" as you like to put it.
  2. Sure am glad they never decided to sit the guy who avg 4.2 YPC 69 YPG and never had more than 11 TDs in any one year, or Thurman might be in the HOF. Plus he never had to deal with 2 first round draft picks ahead of him on the depth chart. All Fred has done is persevered and overcome. His numbers are pretty good and not to far off Thurmans despite having to deal with 2 first round backs playing next to him. CJ was drafted a couple of picks ahead of Lynch, what makes you think he will be better than Lynch, who oh by the way lost his job to Fred. So no I don't think I would consider sitting him, as of right now he's doing a good job, plus he has leadership qualities and that is huge in the locker room.
  3. Nope. You don't basically bench a guy averaging around 4.5 ypc career.
  4. I agree with Promo as it was only a blowout early because of the refs help.
  5. Not making excuses for the Bills today because they certainly did not play well and did not deserve to win today BUT the refs were horrible today and it almost could have been seen as purposely done. Some of those calls and non calls were blatant favoritism towards the Vikings. Yes, I do believe the NFL and some refs play favorites. An NBA ref was convicted of point shaving, why would I expect all NFL refs to be on the up and up. That touchdown where both players had the ball was a wrong call IMHO and from that point on the game was over.
  6. ...or Golisano sells the Sabres to Pegula and then both Pegula and Golisano pool their money and buy the Bills and build a new stadium.
  7. Buffalo won't be resigning him. Unless it's league minimum. I don't see that happening.
  8. is he any better than brohm was at the college level? no i don't think so, so don't draft him.
  9. Boy coulda, shoulda, what if they had taken Orakpo, they could be focusing on another need instead of Dline.
  10. Turkey Day...yum!!
  11. I don't think the will get to 8-8 or even 6-10 but I like what I am seeing and the direction they are going. I think Chan has righted the ship and that is good to see. This team plays hard week in and week out and are gaining an identity. It's a process and they have come a long way from where they were to start the season. Hopefully they keep it going and can ride it into next year.
  12. I have no problem with Fitz being the QB. He is doing fine and that opens the door for the team to get better in other areas through the draft, which i'm all for. If you put all your eggs in Fitz basket, you don't draft a QB and have Fitz looking over his shoulder all the time, you want him focused to be the QB. If you pick him you go with him no questions asked. When it's time to replace him then you cross that bridge when it gets there. Fitz seems like a guy the rest of the players believe in and would go through a wall for and that means a lot in a locker room. Buffalo hasen't had that for quite some time at the QB position. For right now you don't have to fix what is not broken.
  13. Who says Luck is even entering the draft? He is only a junior after all.
  14. This coming from someone basing a long term decision on ONE game! (Rob Johnson anybody) The whole body of work is irrelevent to some I guess. Who is the disabled one here?
  15. A career 79 QB rating A career 54% completion percentage A career 140 pass yards per game His best TD throwing years were 20, 16, 15 and those numbers reflect his gaudy stats from this year. Regardless of what he did off the field, no way would I want him QBing my team. If he didn't have the ability to pull it down and run, I have a feeling he would have been out of the league long ago based on lack of production not dog killing. He is way to overrated in my book. Good D coordinators know how to shut him down easily.
  16. but nobody is "RE"-broadcasting the game. To me rebroadcast means reshowing the game at a later time, not as the game is live.
  17. Yeah, the copyright thing I don't quite understand. The game is FREE over air broadcast to anyone in the world except western NY. BS i'm done giving the NFL any of my money
  18. NFL must have found out about it. It's gone now due to copyright...! What ever F the NFL, not getting anymore of my money.
  19. How bout shlepp and the bullfart.
  20. I knew somebody would ask this! WHY on gods green earth does somebody ALWAYS want back someone who failed with the Bills? WHY? Stop the madness already!
  21. Not only did Russell try out with the Redskins but JP Losman was also seen trying out at the same time as Russell per the ESPN ticker.
  22. You know whats funny about that whole Hangartner situation? On the replay there is a Raven about 5 yards to Geoffs right without his helmet on. Did it come off during play, did he take it off himself, idk, but he is still there on the field without his helmet on. Hmmm.... the Corner int, the Nelson fumble, the Heap pushoff TD, the Hangartner penalty(with a Raven also helmetless)??? Sure does make you wonder who the NFL would prefer to win today!
  23. um...no
